「キュアとケア」という言葉を聞いたことがあるだろうか。過去には医療を医師が疾病の治癒を目指して行うキュア、看護師などが療養生活や日常生活を支援するケアに分けて定義されてきた。しかし、現代医療の大いなる進歩とその限界が認識されるにつれ、両者の境界は曖昧になり、現代医療は患者・家族がその人らしく生きることを支援することを指向するようになった。
人は生まれたとき（もしくは生まれる前）から亡くなるまで、ケアと無縁に過ごすことはできない。本講義は古典的な心理学ではなく、ケアと心理という内容について教授する。まず、「ケアとは何か」からスタートし、人の発達段階に沿って誰もが経験しうるケアの場面について医学部保健学科看護学専攻の教員によってリレー講義を行う。
Have you ever heard the term 'cure and care'? In the past, healthcare has been defined as being divided into two categories: cure, where doctors aim to cure illnesses, and care, where nurses and others provide support for recuperation and daily living. However, as the great advances in modern medicine and its limitations have been recognised, the boundaries between the two have blurred and modern medicine has become oriented towards helping patients and their families to live their lives in their own way. People are not free from care from birth (or before birth) until death. This lecture is not about classical psychology, but about the content of care and psychology. Starting with 'What is care', the lecturers from the Department of Nursing at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences will relay lectures on care situations that anyone can experience along the developmental stages of a person.
１．小児看護の対象である子供の健康と病気を理解するために，子供の最大の特徴である成長と発達について学習し，あわせて小児看護の主題と理念を学ぶ。
２．子供の健康に関する動向と保健対策，疾病や障害を持つ子供と健康な子供に共通した日常生活の援助方法について具体的に学ぶ。また，子供のQuality of Life（QOL）を支援する原理となる子供の権利条約について学び，子供の人権擁護の具体的方法について学習する。
３．子供の疾病について学んだ後に，子供の入院や職種間連携と看護職者の役割について学習し，その後，看護診断と援助に必要な知識・理論・援助方法について学習する。

医療機関，教育機関および関連機関において展開されている，複雑で解決困難な看護問題を持つ子供や家族およびそれらを取り巻く人々に対して行われている高度な看護支援の実際を学ぶ。また，子供と家族の支援に関連した事例報告，研究論文を講読することを通して，子供と家族を心理・社会的に支援する看護の視点を養う。
Students will learn about the advanced nursing care provided at medical institutions, educational institutions, and related organizations for children and families with complex and difficult-to-solve nursing problems, and the people surrounding them. In addition, through reading case reports and research papers related to supporting children and families, students will develop a nursing perspective that provides psychological and social support for children and families.
高度で専門的な看護実践の基盤となる研究論文等の資料を講読することを通して，様々な健康レベルにある小児・家族に対して，倫理的判断および臨床判断に基づき，状況に応じた高度な看護実践を行うためのアセスメント技法および実際的な支援技法を学ぶ。
Students will be able to respond to situations based on ethical and clinical judgments for children and families at various health levels and learn assessment methods and practical support methods for advanced nursing practice by reading research papers and other materials that form the basis of advanced and specialized nursing practice.
これまでに学んだセルフケア理論をはじめとする精神看護理論や評価技術を用いた分析力の向上を図る。そして、精神および身体状態の悪化の予防、維持・改善のための高度な援助技法を演習を通して習得する。また、倫理的側面と権利擁護の観点から、非自発的入院患者を含む全ての対象者における合意形成・意思決定支援のスキルを演習を通して習得する。さらに、リカバリー、エンパワーメント理論を用いた個人やグループに対するアセスメントと回復援助技法を演習を通して習得する。
To improve skills of analysis applying mental health nursing theories such as self-care theory and techniques for assessment and evaluation. Furthermore, to learn advanced support techniques through the practice sessions to prevent physical and mental health deterioration, maintain and promote the health. Then, based on ethics and advocacy, to learn skills to provide support for consensus building and decision making to all individuals including patients who are involuntary admitted to hospital. In addition, to learn techniques for assessment of the person or group of persons, and support for recovery by applying recovery and empowerment theory through the practice sessions.

災害は、多くの生命が危険に晒され、甚大な健康被害を受ける。恐怖からの自由、欠乏からの自由、尊厳ある人生を実現するヒューマンセキュリティ（人間の安全保障）にとって大きな脅威である。その予防と被害の減少が防災であり、2015年に締結された仙台防災枠組では、『健康』を守ることの大切さが大きく取り入れられた。本講座では、マルチハザード、災害におけるこころとからだの健康被害をキーワードに、災害に対する保健・医療・福祉に関する備え、対応、復旧、復興の現状と問題点を明らかにする。

In disaster, many lives are in danger and a huge amount of health crises will threaten human security, i.e. freedom from fear, freedom from want, and freedom of life with dignity. Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030 is the ongoing international framework. Sendai Framework focuses on “health” more than previous frameworks. Multi-hazard approach and physical and mental health damage in disaster are keywords. This course is aiming to clarify the current situation and gaps in medical and public health preparedness, response, recovery, and reconstruction in disaster.
