１．小児看護の対象である子供の健康と病気を理解するために，子供の最大の特徴である成長と発達について学習し，あわせて小児看護の主題と理念を学ぶ。
２．子供の健康に関する動向と保健対策，疾病や障害を持つ子供と健康な子供に共通した日常生活の援助方法について具体的に学ぶ。また，子供のQuality of Life（QOL）を支援する原理となる子供の権利条約について学び，子供の人権擁護の具体的方法について学習する。
３．子供の疾病について学んだ後に，子供の入院や職種間連携と看護職者の役割について学習し，その後，看護診断と援助に必要な知識・理論・援助方法について学習する。

・この授業は３および４セメスターにわたっておこなうもので，これらをあわせて４単位となる。
・講義期間を３期にわけて各期１回，合計３回筆記試験を行う。単位取得のためには３回とも受験する必要がある。
・各期ごとの成績評価は，ミニットペーパーに基づく評価点を１５％，筆記試験を８５％として換算して１００点満点で行い，最終成績はこれら３回の成績評価得点の平均点とする。
・各期ごと，正当な理由がなく講義の４分の１以上欠席した場合はその期の筆記試験の受験資格を認めず，試験を受けても筆記試験は評価しない。
・This class covers 3 and 4 semesters, and these are combined into 4 credits.
・The lecture period is divided into three terms, and the paper examinations are given three times in total, once in each term.
・The grade for each term will be 15% for the evaluation points based on the minute papers and 85% for the paper examinations, with a maximum score of 100 points. The final grade will be the average of these three evaluations.
・If you are absent for more than a quarter of the lectures without a valid reason, you will not be allowed to take the paper examination for that term.Your paper examinations will not be evaluated even if you take the examinations.
・予習復習として，毎回30分程度，授業内容に関連する情報や話題を文献や書籍，メディア資料等を収集して精読し，学習を深めること。
・Students are required to collect information and topics related to the contents of a class using literature, books and medium materials for about 30 minutes each class.
