本演習は、以下の4点を目的としています。
（１）学校教育学研究の基本的作法を体験し、教育を研究対象とすることの意味を理解する
（２）学校教育を題材にした一連の問題解決型学習をこなすことで、社会科学におけるアカデミック・スキルの基本を習得する
（３）研究に欠かせない「他者との学び合い」を体感し、その技法を身につける
（４）よい教育とは何かを考え抜くことを通じて、自分自身の教養の糧にする
学校教育は様々な難しさを抱えています。利害関係の渦に巻き込まれながら改革が日々繰り返されていますが、「よい教育」に「なかなかたどり着けない」のが実情です。数多くの改善策や諸研究が優れた成果を生み出しているようには見えないのはなぜなのでしょうか。
この演習では、教育を研究するとはどのような営みなのかを実際に体験してもらい、教育という捉えどころのない複雑な社会的実践に向き合います。受講生は、単なる学習者ではなく、学校教育（国内の幼稚園～大学を想定）の本質を探求しようとする1人の教育学研究者とみなされます。皆さんの経験を振り返り、先行研究を批判的に解釈し、各自の興味・関心に基づきながら「深い問い」を立て、実験・調査に取り組み、論理的に分析・考察し、「意味のある結論」を導き、成果を報告するという自律的な探究学習（open inquiry）を進めるなかで、「よい教育」とは何なのかを考えていきましょう。
教育に関する専門知識の習得が目的ではなく、演習開始時までに特定分野の知識を習得しておく必要はありません。教育学研究者がどのように研究をしているのか、そして彼らにしかできないことは何なのかを探求する経験は、皆さんがこれから足を踏み入れる各分野のアカデミック・アクティビティと、今後の学習・教育活動に活かすことができるでしょう。
The objectives of this exercise are listed as follows:
(1) Experiencing basic research methods on school education and understanding the meaning of education as a research subject.
(2) Acquiring basic academic skills in social sciences through a series of problem-solving studies using school education as the subject.
(3) Experiencing “cooperative learning” essential for research and acquiring this technique.
(4) Nourishing one’s own culture by deeply thinking about what good education is.
School education faces several challenges. Daily reforms are being made while dealing with rigorous conflicting interests. However, in reality, “good education” is “hard to attain.” Why do numerous improvement measures and studies not yield excellent results?
In this class, students will experience the nature of studying education and confront its elusive and complex social practice. You will be considered not only a learner but also an educational researcher who explores the nature of school education (i.e., from kindergarten through university in Japan). In the course of an open inquiry, you will reflect on your experiences, critically interpret previous research, construct a “thoughtful question” based on your own interests, conduct experiments and surveys, logically analyze and discuss the results, draw “meaningful conclusions,” and report your findings. In this way, we will realize the meaning of “good education.”
The objective is not to acquire specialized knowledge about education. It is not necessary to acquire knowledge of a specific field from the beginning of the class. The experience of exploring how educational researchers conduct their research will help you in your learning and future academic activities in various fields.
知を生み出したり、活用したりする際に、どのような作法に従い、何を考慮すべきなのかについて理解することは、知識基盤型社会においては、研究職に限らず、様々な場で活躍する上で必要です。同時に、新しい知は次々に生まれており、その中で生じる問題に対処するためには、その作法自体も更新していくことが求められます。
現在、研究倫理に関する有用な指針は多くあるものの、個々の具体的な場面では、何が正しい行為なのかを判断することや、望ましい行為を実行することが難しいこともあります。その一方で、大学生活の中で、皆さんはこのような悩ましい問題に取り組み、作法を知るだけでなく、実践できるようになることが期待されています。
そこでこの授業では、皆さんが実際に学びや研究活動の中で直面しそうなジレンマが存在する事例を題材に、複数の行動の選択肢がそれぞれどのような価値を重視しているのか、その中で一般的にはどのような行為が推奨されるのか、その望ましい行為を妨げている原因や状況は何か、どうしたらその原因を取り除いたり、回避したりできるのかについて考えていきます。そして、より良い学習や研究を促す環境づくりに向けた、アイデアを出していただきます。
In this class, you will discuss academic integrity using examples of dilemmas that you may face in your learning and research activities. You will propose ideas for creating a good learning and research environment.
国際関係においては多種多様な背景を持つ人との分け隔てのないコミュニケーションが重要です。コロナ禍に見舞われる現代は、様々な課題が浮き彫りとなってきましたが、中でも孤立孤独の課題やコミュニティの分断は深刻です。演劇的手法には、言葉や文化の壁を越えて人々と人間関係を構築するためのノウハウが蓄積されていますが、大学教育の中で、このような分野横断的なスキルを身に着ける機会がほとんどありません。この科目では個々の人々が持つ多様性を理解するために、性格特性や人間科学に関する所見を取り入れながら実践的な課題に取り組みます。具体的には、対面で演劇的手法を取り入れたグループワークを実践しながら、豊かな人間関係を構築し、人々と共生していくための課題に取り組んでいきたいと思います。(※基礎ゼミで履修した学生にも初めて受講する学生にも対応できるように、内容は工夫されています）
In international relations, it is important to communicate with people of multicultural backgrounds in a non-discriminatory manner. In the Corona disaster, various issues have been highlighted in the current culture, such as the challenges of isolation and loneliness, and the fragmentation of communities. Theatrical methods have accumulated expertise in building human relationships with people across language and cultural barriers. However, there are few opportunities to acquire such cross-disciplinary skills in university education. In this course, students will work on practical issues while incorporating findings on personality traits and human science to understand the diversity of people. Specifically, I would like to work with students on issues of building rich relationships and living in harmony with people, while practicing group work that incorporates theatrical techniques, in face-to-face settings.
健康とは、精神的にも肉体的にも正常で、日常生活に何ら支障がない状態をいう。それが、何らかの原因で損なわれた状態が病気（疾患）である。本科目では、健康の維持に関する基礎知識、日常的に遭遇する疾患の成り立ちや対処法を理解することを目的とし、医学部教授１５名が、それぞれの専門分野における疾患の診断や治療に関する内容に加え、最新の研究成果などもを紹介しながら概説する。
/Health is defined as a state of well-being, encompassing both mental and physical normalcy, having no problems with daily life. Any impairment in this state due to various reasons constitutes illness or disease. The purpose of this class is to provide basic knowledge about maintaining health, understanding the origins of diseases encountered on a daily life, and how to deal with them. Fifteen professors from the School of Medicine present overviews of disease diagnosis and treatment in their respective specialized fields, as well as the latest research findings.

「キュアとケア」という言葉を聞いたことがあるだろうか。過去には医療を医師が疾病の治癒を目指して行うキュア、看護師などが療養生活や日常生活を支援するケアに分けて定義されてきた。しかし、現代医療の大いなる進歩とその限界が認識されるにつれ、両者の境界は曖昧になり、現代医療は患者・家族がその人らしく生きることを支援することを指向するようになった。
人は生まれたとき（もしくは生まれる前）から亡くなるまで、ケアと無縁に過ごすことはできない。本講義は古典的な心理学ではなく、ケアと心理という内容について教授する。まず、「ケアとは何か」からスタートし、人の発達段階に沿って誰もが経験しうるケアの場面について医学部保健学科看護学専攻の教員によってリレー講義を行う。
Have you ever heard the term 'cure and care'? In the past, healthcare has been defined as being divided into two categories: cure, where doctors aim to cure illnesses, and care, where nurses and others provide support for recuperation and daily living. However, as the great advances in modern medicine and its limitations have been recognised, the boundaries between the two have blurred and modern medicine has become oriented towards helping patients and their families to live their lives in their own way. People are not free from care from birth (or before birth) until death. This lecture is not about classical psychology, but about the content of care and psychology. Starting with 'What is care', the lecturers from the Department of Nursing at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences will relay lectures on care situations that anyone can experience along the developmental stages of a person.

The purpose of this class is twofold.
The first is to provide graduate students of our university who wish to become teachers in Japanese universities and higher education institutions with the basic knowledge required in modern Japanese university education and higher education.
The second is for the students to acquire self-reflection skills to analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate their own classes.
