現代教育の歴史的な形成過程を考える上で重要な教育学上の諸概念について、その歴史的な背景をふまえて講じる
皆さんにとって学校の原風景とはどのようなものでしょうか。同一年齢の集団で構成される「学級」とよばれるものへの帰属、「教室」によって仕切られた空間、整然と並べられた机と椅子、おそらくそんな光景ではないでしょうか。よく考えてみると、このほかにも、学校とかかわって私たちが当たり前のこととして受け入れているさまざまな出来事があります。たとえば学級のなかでは「教科書」という特別な書物が使用され、定期的に「試験」がおこなわれること、公立の小学校・中学校では男女が同じ学級で学んでいること、なぜか高校以降では別々の場合があること、一定の年齢までの教育が「義務教育」とされていることなどなどです。このようなことを私たちはいちいち疑問に思うこともなく過ごしています。それは、これらのことが、ある種の強さをもって私たちの社会のなかに一定のポジションを獲得しているからなのでしょう。この講義では、このようにして成り立っている現代教育の諸側面のうちから、いくつかの場面を切り取って、それらと関連する教育学上の（あるいは周辺学問領域の）諸概念について紹介したいと思います。それによって、現代教育の成り立ちについて理解するだけでなく、時にはそれらに疑念を差し挟む眼力を養ってほしいと期待しています。
This course will discuss the historical development of modern education, focusing on key educational concepts and their historical backgrounds.
What do you consider to be the original landscape of school? It might be a space called a "classroom," divided by age groups, with desks and chairs neatly arranged. When we think about it, there are various other events related to school that we take for granted. For example, special books called "textbooks" are used in the classroom, "examinations" are given periodically, boys and girls study in the same class in public elementary and junior high schools, but for some reason they may be separated after high school, education up to a certain age is considered "compulsory education," and so on. We tend to accept these aspects without question because they have firmly established their position in our society. In this lecture, I would like to introduce various aspects of modern education that have been formed in this way, along with related educational (or peripheral academic) concepts. Through this, I hope students not only understand the formation of modern education but also develop the ability to critically question these aspects.
本授業では、教育職員免許状取得にあたり、教育に関する基礎的・基本的な知識等を身につけ、これをもとに教育のあるべき姿を自ら考える力を身につけることを目的とする。
中学校や高等学校等の教員には自ら授業等を実践できる力が必要であることはいうまでもないが、こうした実践を支える基盤となる力がなくては実践も成り立たない。そのため、本授業では、実践を支えるの基盤として教員に求められる力を受講者のみなさんには身につけてほしいと考えている。
そこで、本授業では、教育原理という科目の性格上、教育の本質や目的に関わる内容を中心的なテーマとして学校教育と関連づけながら講義を実施する。その際、焦点をできるだけ絞って各回のテーマを設定し、受講者の皆さんがそれぞれのテーマをじっくりと考えることができるような形で進める。教育に関する基本的な理念と目的、教育における学校及びそこで働く教員の役割、そして現代日本における学校、子ども、教員が抱える課題を理解し、教員に必要とされる基礎的・基本的な事項を理解し、身につけてほしい。授業内容の詳細は、下記の授業内容・方法と進度予定の欄を確認して下さい。
なお、本授業では教科書は指定せず、科目担当者が準備するレジュメを用いて講義を進める。参考文献は多くあげておりますので、ぜひこれらを事前に読んでおくようにして下さい。
この授業では、13の重要な瞬間の検討を通じて、第二次世界大戦の終結から現在までの日本の歴史を探求する。災害、世界との新たな関わり、政治・経済の変化、その他の注目すべき出来事を含め、新しい視点から戦後を概観し、戦後の社会と政治の根底にある連続性と非連続性の両方の線、そして戦後の世界秩序における日本の位置を規定した地域と世界のつながりを浮き彫りにします。
This course explores the history of the period from the end of the Second World War to the present in Japan through an examination of 13 important moments. Including disasters, new engagements with the world, political and economic shifts, and other notable events, this class will provide an overview of the postwar from a new perspective, highlighting the lines of both continuity and discontinuity that underlie postwar society and politics, as well as the regional and global connections that have defined Japan's place in the postwar world order.
応用倫理学では、理論だけではなく、社会問題が起きている現場のリアリティを学びながら、「私たちはどう行動すべきか」を検討しなければなりません。本講義では、ジェンダー/セクシュアリティをテーマに挙げ、社会問題の背景にある歴史的文脈・社会構造を学びながら、倫理的考察を進める方法を学びます。狭義の倫理学の知識だけではなく、社会学、心理学、歴史学等の知見を援用しながら、授業を進めます。
本講義はケーススタディを行います。センシティブなテーマも扱うので、受講する前に必ず内容を確認して、慎重に判断してください。
In applied ethics, we must examine "how we should act" while learning not only theory but also the reality of the field where ethical conflicts are arising. This course highlights one of the most controversial topics of our time, gender/sexuality, and promotes ethical reflection while studying the historical context and social structure behind social conflicts. The course will not only focus on knowledge of ethics in the narrow sense, but will also refer to findings from sociology, psychology, history and other disciplines.
This lecture will be based on case studies. I will also deal with sensitive topics, so please be sure to check the content and make a careful decision before attending the course.
