日本で暮らす外国人の数は年々増加しており、それに伴い学校に在籍する外国人児童生徒等も増加している。この授業では、学校教員を目指す学生を対象に、日本語指導が必要な児童生徒等に関する基礎的な知識を学び、教師として行うべき支援について考える。
In recent years, the number of foreign residents has increased significantly, and at the same time, the number of foreign children whose mother tongue is not Japanese is also increasing in Japanese schools. In this class, students will develop their understanding of foreign children who need Japanese language supports and gain fundamental knowledge of Japanese language teaching and learning support for them.
この授業では、日本語学校に通う留学生や技能実習生、外国人介護職員など日本に暮らす多様な外国人について知るとともに、彼らがどのような言語・文化背景をもち、どのような環境にいるのか、そして彼らはどのような問題や課題を抱えているのかについて理解を深めることを目的とする。ゲストを授業に招いてディスカッションやインタビュー活動を行ったり、授業時間外にフィールドワークに出かけたりするなど、実際に日本で暮らす外国人と接したり、実際の現場を訪問したりする活動の中から学ぶ。
The purpose of this course is to learn about various foreigners living in Japan, such as foreign students attending Japanese language schools, technical intern trainees, and foreign care workers, and to deepen understanding of their linguistic and cultural backgrounds, their environments, and the problems and challenges they face. Students will learn through activities that involve actually interacting with foreigners living in Japan and visiting actual sites such as inviting guests to class for discussions and interview activities, and going out for fieldwork outside of class time.
本授業では、教育職員免許状取得にあたり、教育に関する基礎的・基本的な知識等を身につけ、これをもとに教育のあるべき姿を自ら考える力を身につけることを目的とする。
中学校や高等学校等の教員には自ら授業等を実践できる力が必要であることはいうまでもないが、こうした実践を支える基盤となる力がなくては実践も成り立たない。そのため、本授業では、実践を支えるの基盤として教員に求められる力を受講者のみなさんには身につけてほしいと考えている。
そこで、本授業では、教育原理という科目の性格上、教育の本質や目的に関わる内容を中心的なテーマとして学校教育と関連づけながら講義を実施する。その際、焦点をできるだけ絞って各回のテーマを設定し、受講者の皆さんがそれぞれのテーマをじっくりと考えることができるような形で進める。教育に関する基本的な理念と目的、教育における学校及びそこで働く教員の役割、そして現代日本における学校、子ども、教員が抱える課題を理解し、教員に必要とされる基礎的・基本的な事項を理解し、身につけてほしい。授業内容の詳細は、下記の授業内容・方法と進度予定の欄を確認して下さい。
なお、本授業では教科書は指定せず、科目担当者が準備するレジュメを用いて講義を進める。参考文献は多くあげておりますので、ぜひこれらを事前に読んでおくようにして下さい。

本と子どもが好きな学生と留学生に適した国際共修クラスである。さまざまな文化背景をもつクラスメートと本について対話をし、自己の理解、他者の理解を深め、国際教養を身に付けるとともに、本をテーマにした現代的課題を見つけだす。さらに、日本やさまざまな国の子どもたちに対する多言語ブックトークイベントの企画と実施を通して、異文化での協働力、問題解決力、創造力、コミュニケーション力を身に付けることを目的とする。留学生は東北大学日本語コースのレベル４（日本語能力試験Ｎ３合格レベル、中級前半修了程度）以上であれば、登録可。課外活動も行われる。
This course is designed for both domestic and international students who like books and children. The aims of this course is to promote 1) students' understanding of both themselves and others, 2) acquisition of international liberal arts, and 3) finding contemporary issues on the theme of books, thorough
discussions with classmates who have different cultural backgrounds. In addition, planning and holding book-related events for children in the world enable students to acquire collaborative, problem-solving, creativity, and communication skills. International students: International students can registrate this course if you are at level 4 of the Tohoku University Japanese Language Course (Japanese Language Proficiency Test N3 pass level, completion of the first half of the intermediate level) Extracurricular activities will be also required.

This course is intended for international students who have passed the N2 level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT). This course introduces students to the Japanese language and culture through the lens of food. Students will learn about the history, culture, and significance of food in Japan. They will also explore the relationship between food and social issues, such as globalization, nationalism, and inequality.

In this lecture, the meaning and essence of "education" will be examined historically, and the roles of education, schools, and teachers in human growth and development will be discussed. Furthermore, we will analyze the history of the purpose of education in Europe, the U.S., and Japan, and at the same time, understand the educational philosophy of each period.
本講義では、日本と世界の主要な宗教文化をとりあげてその歴史、教え、儀礼などを概説し、グローバル化した現代社会を生きるために必要な基礎的知識と、異なる宗教の人々と交流するためのリテラシーの涵養をはかる。
In this course, students will think about the history, teachings, and rituals of the major religious cultures of Japan and the world. We will gain the basic knowledge necessary to live in today's globalized society, and improve literacy to interact with people of different religions.
