授業の目的と概要/Object and Summary of Class

本講義では、日本と世界の主要な宗教文化をとりあげてその歴史、教え、儀礼などを概説し、グローバル化した現代社会を生きるために必要な基礎的知識と、異なる宗教の人々と交流するためのリテラシーの涵養をはかる。

In this course, students will think about the history, teachings, and rituals of the major religious cultures of Japan and the world. We will gain the basic knowledge necessary to live in today's globalized society, and improve literacy to interact with people of different religions.

学修の到達目標/Goal of Study

日本と世界の主要な宗教伝統について、その歴史、教え、儀礼などの意味が説明できる。
他の宗教伝統とその信者に対し、その深みと重みに敬意をもって接することができる。

The aim of this course is to help students explain the meaning of the history, teachings, and rituals of the religious traditions of Japan and the world and treat other religious traditions with respect.
