日本で暮らす外国人の数は年々増加しており、それに伴い学校に在籍する外国人児童生徒等も増加している。この授業では、学校教員を目指す学生を対象に、日本語指導が必要な児童生徒等に関する基礎的な知識を学び、教師として行うべき支援について考える。

In recent years, the number of foreign residents has increased significantly, and at the same time, the number of foreign children whose mother tongue is not Japanese is also increasing in Japanese schools. In this class, students will develop their understanding of foreign children who need Japanese language supports and gain fundamental knowledge of Japanese language teaching and learning support for them.

 本講義では、生徒指導・教育相談の基本的な理論と方法を学び、学校現場で生じている様々な問題（不登校、いじめ、暴力、虐待、事件・事故など）の理解とその対応を考えていきます。児童・生徒が学校現場に持ち込む事柄は多岐であり、保護者対応などにより、家庭支援を必要とする場合もあります。その際の校内での連携、外部専門機関との連携、地域との連携などについても議論していきます。/ In this lecture, you will learn the basic theory and method of student guidance and educational counseling, and consider understanding and dealing with various problems (school refusal, bullying, violence, abuse, incidents / accidents, etc.) occurring at school sites. I will continue. There are many things that children and students bring to school, and they may need family support due to parental support. At that time, we will also discuss cooperation within the school, cooperation with external specialized institutions, cooperation with the community, and so on.

This course aims to provide opportunities for students to learn about the basics of Japanese society through its foreign language education system by group discussion, lectures, and a project. Students are expected to develop a comparative view of the education/learning system and its practice between Japan and other countries/regions. Sessions are held face-to-face and partially online (See the section on “In Addition”).

This course will be conducted in English, and sometimes in Japanese for supplementary use. Students will need to have the operational skills to interact and discuss in English. In case of using Japanese, translation should be carried out by students for mutual support.

本科目は、グループディスカッション、講義およびプロジェクトにより、日本の外国語教育システムと実践の学習を通して日本社会の基礎を学ぶことを目的としています。履修する学生には、日本と他国/地域に関する教育および学習制度やその実践を比較する視点を養うことが期待されます。授業は対面で、ただし一部オンラインでおこないます（「その他」の項を参照してください）。

本科目は原則として英語でおこない、補助的に日本語を使うことがあります。英語による対話やディスカッションをするための英語運用能力が求められます。場合により日本語を使うときは、相互支援のために学生同士で通訳をおこないます。
