This is one of three courses which teach the basics of constitutional law in Japan. This course covers the topics relating to the constitutional ideas, history, principles, and the protection of individual rights.

この講座の目的は、社会科学のさまざまな理論を駆使して、グローバルガバナンスと持続可能な開発への理解を深めることにある。とくにSDGs（Sustainable Development Goals持続可能な開発目標）に関心を向けながら、これらへの理解を深めることにある。SDGsとは国連が掲げるグローバルな目標であり、これの中心的な要素が「グローバルガバナンス」「持続可能な開発」といったテーマにほかならない。これらのテーマは、市場経済、社会福祉、地球環境、平和・安全保障などの問題と密接に関連している。この講座では、政治学や国際関係論のコンセプトや理論をつかって、これらの問題を捉えていく。

The aim of this course is to gain comprehensive knowledge of global governance and sustainable development by using various theories of the social sciences. In particular, the aim is to gain such knowledge while paying special attention to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — the goals for the global community set by the United Nations. The central elements of the SDGs include global governance and sustainable development, and the latter two notions are associated with issues such as the market economy, social welfare, the global environment, peace and security. This course sheds light on various aspects of these issues by utilizing analytical concepts and theories used in the fields of Political Science and International Relations.

本講義では、社会問題に「法」がどのように関わっているかを学ぶことにより、問題処理能力を養うことを目的とします。法学とは、人々が共に暮らす社会をいかにして安定させるかを考える学問です。講義の中では、法についての基礎的知識を提供するとともに、それを踏まえた上で、現実の社会の具体的問題を「法的」に検討します。法を学ぶに当たっては、自分と意見を異にする人との対話が有益です。対話を通じて、物事の解決に唯一の「正解」は存在しないことを知り、自分自身で考えてみる訓練をすることが重要となります。

The objective of this course is to develop abilities in solving problems through learning how law is involved in societal issues. The study of law is an academic discipline that considers how to provide stability to society in which people live together. The lectures will provide basic knowledge about law, and on the basis of such knowledge, consider specific issues within actual society from a legal perspective.

研究開発や産業活動において，知的財産の重要性が高まっており，知的財産を保護するために知的財産権制度の活用が必須となっている．本講義では，基本的な産業財産権を始めとする知的財産権制度の概要及びその活用法を説明する．加えて，実務的な立場から，知的財産の価値評価，産業財産権のデータ活用及び知的財産権に関する最近の動向についても説明する．

本講義は，知的財産及び知的財産権に関する実務的な基礎知識の修得を図ることを目的とする．

本講義では，終了時に学生が以下の能力を身に着けていることを目標とする:

The utilization of the intellectual property rights system is imperative for safeguarding intellectual property, the significance of which is burgeoning in research and development as well as industrial endeavors.

This course delves into the overview and utilization of the intellectual property rights system, encompassing industrial property rights. Moreover, it addresses intellectual property valuation, the utilization of industrial property data, and recent trends in intellectual property rights from a pragmatic perspective.

The objective of this course is to equip students with practical foundational knowledge regarding intellectual property and intellectual property rights.

Upon completion of the course, participants are expected to grasp the fundamental principles of industrial property laws, comprehend the standard methodologies for evaluating intellectual property, and discern the process of acquiring and leveraging industrial property rights data.
