産業革命期以降に科学と技術の関係は大きく変化したといわれます。経済的社会的あるいは文化的な科学研究の意義と役割もまたこの時期以降に大きく変化したといえます。科学や技術の進歩が産業や経済の発展に寄与してきたわけですが、その一方で科学や技術が貧富の格差の拡大、環境の破壊、戦争の惨禍の一因ともなってきました。そこで本講義では、科学と技術が人類の平和と幸福のために今後いかなる方向性を持たなければならないのかを、20世紀までの歴史をたどりつつ検討します。
After Industrial Revolution, it is said the relationship of science and technique greatly changed. Economical, social, cultural significance of scientific research also changed. Science has been regarded as the cause of gap between the rich and the poor, environmental destruction, misery of war by some people. In this lecture, it is argued how science and technique will be for human peace and welfare. For this purpose, the history of science from the period of Industrial Revolution to the 20th century is studied.
第4次産業革命の到来・Digital Transformation(DX)・Artificial Intellence(AI)・Robot技術等が日常化している。技術の進展は働き方、仕事の代替＝失業、政府や自治体行政の自動化、戦争、芸術創作、選挙・政党・政策決定、民主主義、人間と機械の関係、人間の役割にも大きな変化をもたらしている。
本講義では、デジタル時代の政治・経済・社会の変化を理解し、その変化を読み解く概念・理論・実践的な戦略を身につけることが目標です。技術の話しはしない。新しい技術の影響、技術を利活用した政治・社会問題の解決、人間と技術の共存に焦点を当てる。
The advent of the 4th Industrial Revolution, Digital Transformation (DX), Artificial Intellence (AI), and robot technology have become commonplace. Technological progress has brought about major changes in work styles, job substitution = unemployment, automation of government and municipal administration, wars, artistic creation, election, political party and policy making, democracy, the relationship between humans and machines, and the role of humans.
目的：今年度は、経済史を中心にして学びます。世界経済の成り立ちや重要な仕組みについて、歴史を題材として学びます。可能なところでは、経済学の考え方を適用して、経済学的な社会の解釈の練習となることも目指します。それらに加えて、グローバル経営史の入門的内容についても学びます。
In this year the focus of the class is on economic history. The purpose of the class is to study the development of global economy and its mechanisms through historical cases. When it is possible, we try to apply economics ideas to the historical cases as exercises for interpreting them. In addition to these, the class also covers introductory content on global business history.

医療は我々に非常に身近であり、誰にでも必要なものですが、意外と知られていないことも数多くあります。例えば、「日本に病院はどのくらいあるのか」、「日本の医療費はどのくらいか」、「医療保険の種類には何があるのか」などについて自信を持って回答できるでしょうか。そのような身近な疑問に答えられるように、医療資源や医療費の現状や医療・保健分野の制度（仕組み）を理解しながら、医療経済学の基礎理論を講義します。医療現場で働く皆さんにとって医療・保健分野における制度の理解は必修といえるでしょう。また、身近な経済用語や基礎的な経済理論についても講義します。
講義では、より理解を深めるためにそれぞれの課題に対応する図表（統計データ）を数多く提示し、必要に応じて関連資料を配布します
Medical care is very familiar to us and is necessary for everyone, but there are many things that are surprisingly unknown. For example, can you confidently answer "how many hospitals are there in Japan", "how much is the medical expenses in Japan", "what are the types of medical insurance"? In order to answer such familiar questions, we will give a lecture on the basic theory of health economics while understanding the current state of medical resources and medical expenses and the system (mechanism) in the medical and health fields. Understanding the system in the medical and health fields is a must for everyone working in the medical field. We will also give lectures on familiar economic terms and basic economic theories.

授業の目的・概要
本講義では、経済学的な側面から、社会・経済と深く関わる電力・エネルギーの需給メカニズムや供給体制を理解する上で必要な、消費者・生産者モデルや市場などの基礎概念を学ぶとともに、電力市場の特徴や電力システムのセキュリティと送電ネットワークとの関わりについて、電力システムの計画や運用における最新の動向も含めて学ぶ。

In this course, we will use Classroom to transmit lecture materials and lecture information.In this lecture, students will learn basic concepts such as consumer-producer model and market, which are necessary to understand the supply and demand mechanism and supply system of electricity and energy deeply related to society and economy from an economic perspective. Students will also learn about the characteristics of electricity markets and the relationship between electricity system security and transmission networks, as well as the latest trends in electricity system planning and operation.
個々の消費者や生産者の行動を基礎とする「ミクロ経済学」について基礎理論と応用を学びます。現実の経済で起きているさまざまな経済事象を論理的に考え、理解できる力を身につけることを目的とします。前半は、消費者の行動と生産者の行動などのミクロ経済学の基礎理論について、後半は、基礎理論を応用して現実問題の分析や最適な政策とはどうあるべきかについて説明します。
In this course, we study the foundational theories and applications of "microeconomics," which are based on the behaviors of individual consumers and producers. The goal is to develop the ability to logically analyze and understand various economic phenomena occurring in the real economy. The first half covers the basic theories of microeconomics, such as consumer behavior and producer behavior. The second half explains the application of these foundational theories to address real-world problems and discuss the optimal policies to deal with them.
