目的：今年度は、経済史を中心にして学びます。世界経済の成り立ちや重要な仕組みについて、歴史を題材として学びます。可能なところでは、経済学の考え方を適用して、経済学的な社会の解釈の練習となることも目指します。それらに加えて、グローバル経営史の入門的内容についても学びます。
In this year the focus of the class is on economic history. The purpose of the class is to study the development of global economy and its mechanisms through historical cases. When it is possible, we try to apply economics ideas to the historical cases as exercises for interpreting them. In addition to these, the class also covers introductory content on global business history.
概要：外国経済史、世界経済史の、基本的な諸事実と、基本的な諸解釈の提示を行います。 また、グローバル経営史の入門的内容についても提示します。
To explain basic facts and basic interpretations on foreign economic histories and world economic history. It also presents an introductory content of global business history.
到達目標：外国経済史、世界経済史の、基本的な諸事実と、基本的な諸解釈を知る。それらを、現代の世界経済の成り立ちの理解に結びつけることができるようになる。また、経済史の知識を踏まえて、多国籍企業の歴史の入門的内容に入っていくことができる。
To understand basic facts and basic interpretations on foreign economic histories and world economic history. And, to be able to connect such historical facts and interpretations with the development of current global economy. Also, based on on knowledge of economic history, you can enter into introductory content on the history of multinational corporations.

シラバス作成（2024年2月）の後の私の知識の増加にともなって、授業内容と進度に多少の変更が生じる可能性があります。そういった際は、クラスルームと教務掲示板を通してすみやかに受講者にお知らせします。
複数回のレポートの評価の合計によって成績を評価します。レポートの回数は、３回から５回の予定です。詳細は、講義の進行に合わせて指示します。
Grading is based on the sum of the ratings of several reports. The number of reports will be three, four or five. Details will be given as the course progresses.
レポートに関して、『日本経済新聞』の閲覧を前提にする場合があります。最低限、レポート作成時だけでもよいので、『日本経済新聞』を閲覧できること。大学の付属図書館で紙版を閲覧することもできます。
In relation to the reports, you will be required to read the 'Nihon Keizai Shimbun'. As a minimum, students must be able to read the Nihon Keizai Shimbun even if only when writing reports. You can also read the paper version at the university library.

復習：講義資料と自分のノートの見直し。レポートの作成。
Preparation: read the relevant sections of the reference books for each session in advance.
Review: review of lecture material and own notes. Report writing.
履修者が300名を超えた場合，経済学部以外の学部からの履修を認めない場合があります．
履修の条件：レポートに関して、『日本経済新聞』の閲覧を前提にする場合があります。最低限、レポート作成時だけでもよいので、『日本経済新聞』を閲覧できること。大学の付属図書館で紙版を閲覧することもできます。
その他：ごく一部の学生に対してとなると思いますが、念のため、不合格の成績の変更要求に応じることはないことを明記しておきます。単位取得のためには、必要な回数のレポートをそれぞれの期限までに必ず提出して下さい。
