中学校・高等学校で数学の授業を行うための基礎知識をつける。そのため、教科書および学習指導要領とその解説の注意すべき点、授業の行い方、適切な説明の仕方などを学習する。また、現在の中学校・高等学校の教育の現場での様々な問題や、日本の数学教育が持っている問題について考える。
The purpose of this course is to understand how to teach mathematics. We will learn contents and points to notice in textbooks and Curriculum Guidelines of mathematics. We will also consider educational problems of mathematics in middle and high schools.

In this course, group work and other group activities will be conducted in addition to lectures to enable active learning. Lectures will be given on the following points: ①Significance, role, goals, and content of Extracurricular Activities. ②Significance and instructional considerations regarding classroom activities and other group activities at school. ③Significance, role, goals, and content of the Period of Integrated Study (including the Period for Inquiry-Based Cross-Disciplinary Study). ④Instructional planning and considerations for the Period of Integrated Study (including the Period for Inquiry-Based Cross-Disciplinary Study).
