東アジアの大衆文化は、最近急速に相互交流が進んでいる。ドラマ、映画、音楽、漫画、ファッション、SNS等々の各分野で「韓流」「日流」「華流」のブームが見られるように、国境の枠を超えた流通と相互交流が行われるようになっている。授業では主に東アジアの日本、韓国、中国、台湾での大衆文化の交流のあり方を検討していく。主に佐野が2000年代以降の「韓流」と「日流」、「華流」を取り上げ、相互の文化交流のあり方を検討する。その後、学生が発表を担当し、東アジアでの文化流通の様々な様相を検討していく。/As for the mass culture of the East Asia, mutual interchange advances recently. The main aims of this course are to read the text about Korean culture and learn the expressions and grammar items that were not covered in "Basic Korean I and II" and "Developed Korean I and II."
In addition to just learning the Korean language, this course will also deepen the student’s understanding of other cultures from a comparative cultural point of view.

フィールドワークを実施する者は、フィールドワークで得られるべきデータがいかなる性格のものであるのかについてきちんと理解していなければならない。また、データ入手のためのフィールドワークは倫理的に正しい方法で行わなければならない。そこで本講義では、各自が研究を進める上でフィールドワークはそもそも何のために行うのか、またどのようなデータを収集すべきかについて各自が考えるための手がかりを提供する。と同時に、そのフィールドワークを実施する上で理解しておくべき技術的かつ倫理的な問題点について概観する。
Anyone who carries out fieldwork should properly understand what kind of data are to be acquired by his / her research. And he / she should do fieldwork to get data in accordance with ethics and proper procedures. In this class, instructors will give clues for considering for what purpose he /she should do fieldwork and what kind of data he / she should collect. Instructors will also give an overview of technical and ethical issues which researchers should understand in carrying out fieldwork.

【目的と概要】
新興国の経済発展に関する比較政治経済学の講義です。東アジアを中心にしてラテンアメリカと比較します。東アジアは第二次大戦後に工業化に成功して高度経済成長を遂げましたが、ラテンアメリカは工業化の開始時期は早かったものの、その水準は東アジアに追い越されたように見えます。この違いは何に起因しているのでしょうか。
政治経済学は、経済政策を国家（政府）が決定・実施したり、企業が効率的な生産活動を行ったりするための条件の一つとして、国家、市場、民間セクターの制度と組織、さらにそれらの間の関係について分析してきました。この授業では、政治・経済・社会の様々な制度や組織、政治的条件について検討し、二つの地域の国々の工業化や経済発展を促進または阻害した要因について考察します。
取り上げる時期は第２次世界大戦後から最近まで、対象国は主に韓国、タイ、日本、メキシコ、アルゼンチン、ブラジルなどですが、アフリカの国も適宜取り上げます。ただし、各国の歴史や政治経済を概説するというよりも、制度と組織の問題を検討するための事例として各国の例を分析します。
This course teaches the political economy of East Asia, mainly dealing with issues of economic development. Its approach is comparative, addressing the following issue: Why East Asian countries have grown so fast, while Latin Americans lagged behind after the World War II. The course focuses on government, private actor, institutions, and international structures.
美術史とは歴史研究における方法のひとつで、美術作品を資料として分析し、どのような時代背景のもと、どのような意識に基づき、なぜ制作されたのか、各時代の人間の営為や精神を見つめることを目的とする学問である。一見、入口としてハードルは低そうに見えるが、美術作品はいわば歴史の「上澄み」であり、その下を支える思想、哲学、宗教、文学などは多様で複雑である。
本講は「日本絵画史」の続編にあたり、東アジアにおける文化の総決算ともいえる江戸時代に焦点を絞り、その広範な文化的背景を解きほぐしつつ、主要な美術作品の諸様相について概観していく。「絵画」のみではなく、「刀剣」「刀装具」「染織」などの諸工芸についても言及し、東アジアのなかの日本という観点から、中国大陸や朝鮮半島からの影響と日本の独自性についても考える。

The aim of this course is to gain comprehensive knowledge of international relations in East Asia. In particular, it aims to explore the characteristics of international relations in this region and the key determinants of those characteristics. The term "East Asia" here refers to the region encompassing Northeast and Southeast Asia. The former is the area in which China, Japan and Korea coexist, and the latter is the area managed by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). This East Asian region is diverse in terms of culture, religion, political systems and the levels of economic development. What are the characteristics of international relations in such a diverse region, and what are their key determinants? It is imperative that these issues be examined from multiple points of views. This is why, in this course, various analytical concepts and theories in the social sciences will be covered, so as to gain comprehensive knowledge of international relations in East Asia.
International Relations of East Asia I (in Japanese) and International Relations of East Asia II (in English) can be considered different courses. The latter need not be seen as an extension of the former. Students may choose to take either/both of them.
本授業では、近代日本の画家たちの現地通信・日記および絵画作品を素材に、従軍者、記録者、あるいは旅行者として中国大陸や朝鮮半島へ赴いた彼らが東アジアという「場」の日常・非日常をどのように写し取ったのかを考察し、そこに見られる表象の推移およびまなざしの政治性を分析してみる。
便宜上、三つの時期に分けて検討し、「異郷」（いま・ここと違う過去・異国）への憧れと心的葛藤を近代国家日本の歩みと重ねあわせて考えてみる。
①明治前期：日清戦争に従軍した黒田清輝、中村不折；日露戦争に従軍した小杉未醒、津田青楓・・・
②明治後期から大正期にかけて（特に1910年代以降）：藤島武二、児島虎次郎・・・
③昭和期（特に日中戦争突入後）：川端龍子、吉田博・・・
※本授業はすべて日本語で行う。外国人の場合、N１程度の日本語能力を必要とします。
