精神科医療施設において、精神科医が実施する精神的不調を有する患者に対する診断と検査、治療法を見学およびシャドーイングを通して学ぶ。精神科医のスーパービジョンを受けながら対象者に対する診断や必要な検査、治療法について考察できるよう、高度な看護を提供するために必要な専門的能力を養う。
Students will learn how psychiatrists provide diagnoses, tests, and treatment to patients with mentally ill condition, through observation and shadowing of clinical practice at mental healthcare organizations. Students will receive supervision by psychiatrists to discuss the diagnoses, required tests, and treatment approaches for the person. Then, students will foster the expert skills that are required to provide advanced nursing care to patients.
精神看護の対象である精神科医療施設における患者とその家族に必要なケアを提
供するための看護計画を科学的根拠に基づき立案し、科学的視点から直接ケアを実
施・評価・修正することで、ケアとキュアを融合した高度な看護実践に役立つ知識と
スキルを総合的に習得する。具体的には、精神科閉鎖病棟と医療観察法病棟のそれぞ
れ異なる治療環境に入院中の患者のケアに必要な観察、回復と社会復帰に必要な薬物
療法、精神療法、作業療法、社会復帰リハビリテーション等の治療、再発防止のため
の指導を諸理論を用いて検討し、対象者が適切に意思決定できるよう支援しながら必
要なケアを展開する。
Students will accomplish comprehensive learning of knowledge and skills that contribute to advanced nursing practice integrating care and cure, through planning, implementation, evaluation, and revision of direct nursing care plan based on scientific evidence and review, to provide necessary care for patients and families who are subject to mental health nursing at mental healthcare organizations. Specifically, students will discuss observation which is required for care for patients admitted to different treatment environments (i.e. psychiatric closed units and forensic care units); medication which is required for recovery and social reintegration; other treatment and recurrence prevention such as psychotherapy, occupational therapy, social rehabilitation, based on multiple theories. Students will proceed necessary care while supporting the person’s appropriate decision making.
精神科治療技法である精神科薬物療法や身体療法、精神療法、認知・行動療法、作業療法・精神科デイケア等の治療技法と心身への影響について学ぶ。また、精神科救急・急性期にある患者に対する精神科治療技法を学ぶ。
To learn mental health treatment approaches including psychiatric treatment such as psychotropic medication, physical therapy, and psychotherapy; therapies including cognitive behavioural therapy, occupational therapy, and daycare in mental health services; and how these treatment approaches affect the person’s physical and psychological health. Mental health treatment approaches also include treatment for patients in psychiatric emergency and/or acute care units.
対象者の精神的問題や心身相互作用に起因する問題の治療に必要な精神療法などの専門治療技法を演習を通して習得する。
To learn, trough the practice sessions, specialized therapeutic techniques such as psychotherapy that is needed to treat challenges due to the person’s mental health problems or psycho-physiological interactions.
精神看護が必要な対象者が暮らす地域における支援は、対象者の病状管理や生活の
安定上重要である。訪問看護ステーションや包括型地域生活支援プログラム(ACT)における精神看護専門看護師の活動に参加し、コンサルタントに必要な能力と姿勢について学ぶ。個人では対応が困難な対象者とのコンサルテーション(相談)場面から看護援助を考察し、支援に関わる保健医療福祉に携わる人々全体をシステムとして捉えてコーディネーション(調整)を検討する。以上から科学的根拠に基づくアセスメントと各種理論や高度な知識に基づくコンサルテーション・コーディネーション技術を習得することで、専門性の高い高度看護実践能力を養う。
Support available in the community is essential for the person who requires mental health nursing and lives at the community to manage symptom and stable daily living. Students will engage in the activities of psychiatric-mental health clinical nurse specialists (PMH-CNSs) in home-visiting nurse stations and Assertive Community Treatment, and learn the skills and attitudes as consultants. Students will discuss appropriate nursing support during a consultation meeting for the person with challenges that cannot be treatable by individual provider, and coordination of a whole support system involving all relevant personnel in health and social care services. Through these practices, students will learn the skills for consultation and coordination based on scientific evidence-based assessment, multiple theories, and advanced knowledge to foster skills for highly specialized and advanced nursing practice.

医療機関,教育機関および関連機関において展開されている,複雑で解決困難な看護問題を持つ子供や家族およびそれらを取り巻く人々に対して行われている高度な看護支援の実際を学ぶ。また,子供と家族の支援に関連した事例報告,研究論文を講読することを通して,子供と家族を心理・社会的に支援する看護の視点を養う。
Students will learn about the advanced nursing care provided at medical institutions, educational institutions, and related organizations for children and families with complex and difficult-to-solve nursing problems, and the people surrounding them. In addition, through reading case reports and research papers related to supporting children and families, students will develop a nursing perspective that provides psychological and social support for children and families.
救急・急性期精神看護の対象である患者とその家族に必要な看護計画を科学的根拠
に基づき立案し、直接ケアを実施、評価、修正することで、ケアとキュアを融合した
高度な看護実践に役立つ知識とスキルを総合的に習得する。また、対象の精神および
身体状態の悪化予防、維持・改善のため、これまでに学んだ症状評価技法や各種理論
を用いたアセスメント方法、救急・急性期に特化した援助技術を看護計画に充分反映
させながら、高度な看護を実践する。その際、対象の人権を保障し意思決定ができる
よう支援する。
Students will accomplish comprehensive learning of knowledge and skills that contribute to advanced nursing practice integrating care and cure, through planning, implementation, evaluation, and revision of direct nursing care plan based on scientific evidence and review, to provide necessary care for patients and families who are subject to psychiatric emergency and/or acute nursing care. Students will also reflect full learned skills of symptom evaluation and assessment approaches by applying multiple theories, and full learned support techniques which are specialized for emergency and/or acute care, to nursing care plan for deterioration prevention, maintenance, and improvement of the person’s physical and mental health condition. Then students will implement advanced nursing practice while protecting the person’s human rights and support for decision making.
精神看護専門看護師の役割と機能を精神科医療機関における実際の活動でシャドーイングすることにより学ぶ。具体的には、精神看護専門看護師を役割モデルとしながら、科学的根拠に基づくケアとキュアを統合した高度な看護実践、看護師に対するケア向上のための教育、看護師を含むケア提供者からの相談、ケアが円滑に提供されるために必要な保健医療福祉関係者間の調整、専門知識・技術の向上や開発を図るための研究、倫理的な問題・葛藤に関する倫理調整について学ぶ。さらに、実習指導者である精神看護専門看護師および教員とのディスカッションや文献検討、研究成果を通して、精神看護専門看護師の役割を担うために必要な自己の課題を明らかにし取り組むことで、看護実践能力を育む。
Students will learn the role and functioning of psychiatric-menta health clinical nurse specialists (PMH-CNSs) through shadowing of clinical practice at mental healthcare organizations. Specifically, PMH-CNSs will serve as role models to enable students learn advanced nursing practice that integrates care and cure based on scientific evidence, education for other nurses for care quality improvement, consultation with care providers including nurses, coordination within stakeholders in health and social care services which is needed for smooth care provision, researches to improve and develop expert knowledge and skills, and ethical coordination to address ethical challenges and conflicts. Furthermore, students will identify own tasks that should be achieved to perform the role of PMH-CNS, through the discussion with faculty members and PMH-CNSs who are trainers of nursing practice, literature reviews, and research presentations. Students will accomplish such identified tasks to foster own skills for nursing practice.

Learn approaches to evaluate the person’s mental functioning and psychosocial condition by applying psychiatric diagnostics, psycho-physiological diagnostics, and evaluation of psychosocial functioning. These evaluation approaches are required for psychiatric-mental health clinical nurse specialists to implement advanced nursing interventions that integrate care and cure for people with mental illness.
