授業の目的と概要/Object and Summary of Class

精神科医療施設において、精神科医が実施する精神的不調を有する患者に対する診断と検査、治療法を見学およびシャドーイングを通して学ぶ。精神科医のスーパービジョンを受けながら対象者に対する診断や必要な検査、治療法について考察できるよう、高度な看護を提供するために必要な専門的能力を養う。

Students will learn how psychiatrists provide diagnoses, tests, and treatment to patients with mentally ill condition, through observation and shadowing of clinical practice at mental healthcare organizations. Students will receive supervision by psychiatrists to discuss the diagnoses, required tests, and treatment approaches for the person. Then, students will foster the expert skills that are required to provide advanced nursing care to patients.

学修の到達目標/Goal of study

1）対象に対する臨床判断を行うための診断方法や心理検査を含む検査方法を理解し説明できる。
2）対象の症状を評価できる。
3）対象に対する治療内容と手順を理解し説明できる。
4）対象に必要な精神科薬物療法の主作用や副作用を理解し説明できる。
5）対象に対する身体療法や心理療法を理解し説明できる。
＊精神科医のスーパービジョンを受けながら実施する

1) Establish the understanding and explain diagnostic approaches and tests including psychological testing to conduct a clinical judgement for the person.
2) Establish the skills to evaluate the person’s symptoms.
3) Establish the understanding and explain the treatment plan and procedure to the person.
4) Establish the understanding and explain the main effects and possible side effects of psychiatric medication that is needed to implement to the person.
5) Establish the understanding and explain physical therapy and psychotherapy to the person.
*Students will implement these practices under the supervision by psychiatrists.
