引き続き、雲夢睡虎地秦簡を読解し、これまでの研究成果を把握し、簡牘史料の解読の基礎を習得するとともに、その後に出土したほかの史料の知見を踏まえ、従来の見解の見直しを試みる。詳細な訳注稿を提出する。
We will continue to read the Shuihudi Qin documents, get a handle on current research findings, and develop basic reading skills to understanding bamboo and wooden slips documents. In addition, we will attempt to review the results of previous studies in light of information from other documents that have been unearthed since then. Students will present a detailed translation and notes in Japanese.
戦国秦の同時代史料であり、現在の中国古代史研究の基盤となった出土史料である雲夢睡虎地秦簡を会読する。中国・日本・欧米のこれまでの研究成果を把握し、簡牘史料の解読の基礎を習得するとともに、その後に出土したほかの史料の知見を踏まえ、従来の見解の見直しを行う。釈文・訓読を確定し、訳注稿として提出する。
In this course, students will read documents of bamboo and wooden slips, such as the Yunmeng Shuihudi Qin bamboo slips，which was the contemporary historical sources of Qin in Warring States period and become the foundation for the current studies of ancient Chinese history. By this reading, get a handle on current research findings, and develop basic reading skills to understanding bamboo and wooden slips documents. In addition, we will attempt to review the results of previous studies in light of information from other documents that have been unearthed since then. Students will present a detailed translation and notes in Japanese.
明清時代の漢文史料を精読することを通して、中国近世の政治制度、官僚制度に関する基礎知識を習得し、同時に自分で課題探究をするために必須となる文書読解の訓練を行う。
Students will read carefully the historical documents of the Ming Qing period and develop basic reading skills crucial to understanding historical texts used in academic research. Moreover, students will learn basic methods to study political institutions, bureaucracy and so on in Early Modern China.
漢文史料の読解力を向上させ，春秋・戦国・秦漢時代の基礎的な知識を獲得し，伝世文献の扱いを習得することを目的とする。後期は『春秋左氏伝』を資料とし，本文および注記を精読しながら，ほかの関連する文献、出土資料を参照して，訳注を作成する。
The aim of this course is help students improve the skills to read the Chinese classics, to acquire the basic knowledge about history from the Spring and Autumn period to Qin-Han period, and become proficient in handling the traditional literatures of Chinese. In this course, we will read Chunqiu春秋 (Spring and Autumn annals) and Zuo zhuan左氏伝 (Zuo’s tradition). Students will read the text and notes carefully, compare them with other related literatures and excavated materials, and prepare a translation and notes.
中国明清時代の漢文史料読解を通じて、読むための手続き（史料の探し方や辞書・索引の使い方等）を習得する。その上で様々な課題探究に対する基礎知識を得る。
This course is designed to help students learn how to search for historical materials and how to use dictionaries / index through reading the Chinese historical documents of Ming Qing Period. Then students get basic knowledge on exploring various subjects about Chinese history.

日本における歴史資料の原典は肉筆で書かれており、活字で出版された現代の本を見るだけでは不十分な場合が多い。なぜなら読み間違いやミスプリントが多々存在するからである。研究を確かなものとするためには原典資料にあたることは不可欠だが、そのためには古文書やくずし字、変体がなを読む訓練を経なければならない。
そこで本講では、日本近世絵画史の研究に必要な「変体がな」を読みこなすためのトレーニングとして、基礎資料である『名所図会』をはじめとした版本および実作品に付された賛文の基礎を学び、最低限の目標として浮世絵に付された変体がなは読めるようにしたい。
また、内容に即して日本文化の淵源となる基礎的知識を学んでいく。

This course provides a training program to read "Miyako Rinsen Meisyou Zue" and "Gajyou Youryaku" which are documents related to the paintings of the Edo era.

『廿二史箚記』の読解を継続し、中国古典文（漢文）で書かれた史料を読解するためには、漢和辞典のみに依存した予習では限界があることを体得する。２回目の授業以降、受講者は、全員、書き下し文と現代日本語訳を作成し、あわせて、関連史料や官職、制度等の調査結果についてもまとめて、課題として提出する。
The aim of this course is to help students acquire the basic skills needed to read the Chinese classics as historical materials by reading “Ershiershizhaji”.
江戸時代に商業出版が成立すると、庶民層を対象とする通俗的な書物が数多く出版され、それらは社会に大きな影響を与えた。そこで、本授業では、受講生たちに、江戸時代に出版された幾つかの木版本を読んでもらい、基礎的な史料読解能力と伝統的な文化への理解力を身に付けてもらう。
When commercial publishing was established in the Edo period, many popular books for the general public were published, which had a major impact on society. In this course, students will read some books printed in woodblock prints published during the Edo period, and through that experience, will acquire basic ability to read historical materials and understand Japanese traditional culture.
