Course Title (授業題目)

Studies of Bureaucracy in the Ming,Qing Dynasty

授業の目的と概要

明清時代の漢文史料を精読することを通して、中国近世の政治制度、官僚制度に関する基礎知識を習得し、同時に自分で課題探究をするために必須となる文書読解の訓練を行う。

Course Objectives and Course Synopsis(授業の目的と概要)

Students will read carefully the historical documents of the Ming Qing period and develop basic reading skills crucial to understanding historical texts used in academic research. Moreover, students will learn basic methods to study political institutions, bureaucracy and so on in Early Modern China.

学習の到達目標

１学期に引き続き、中国明清時代の一次史料読解を通じて、政治制度、官僚制度研究に必須となる公文書の基本形式に慣れると同時に、当時の官僚制と社会について分析を加える。特に各回の担当者を決めず、全員が毎回発表する（日本語訳でも訓読でもかまわない）。

Learning Goals(学習の到達目標)

In the second semester, following the first semester, through the reading of the primary historical materials of Ming Qing China, students will accustom to the basic form of the official document which is essential for analyzing the bureaucracy and society at the time. All students will give a presentation in every class by Japanese.
