本講義は、実際にアーカイブズ機関において必要とされるアーキビストの業務について、ディスカッションや実践を通じて体得する授業である。アーカイブズ機関の現場で求められるアーキビストの使命・倫理、資料保存に関する技術、公文書の保存・修復・利用に関する知識、専門的な知識やマネジメント、職務上必要なスキルやマネジメント能力について、理解を深めることを目的とする。
This lecture is a class in which students learn about the work of archivists actually required in archives through discussion and practice. Students will deepen their understanding of the mission and ethics of archivists required in the field of archives, techniques related to document preservation, knowledge of preservation, restoration, and utilization of official documents, expertise and management, and skills and management abilities necessary for their work.
歴史学は、史料の内容を理解することに大きな比重を置く学問であるが、その一方で史料はモノとしての側面も持っている。モノとして伝来してきた史料を、歴史学の素材として、あるいは文字・画像の情報としてだけではなく、史料そのものを永く保存し、人類共有の文化遺産として後世に伝えなければならない。そのためには史料＝アーカイブズの特質や史料群の構造・伝来などを深く理解し、史料そのものを正しく取り扱い、適切に保存していく理論と方法を学ぶ必要がある。この講義では、史料の保存・活用のための学問であるアーカイブズ学についてその基礎を学ぶ。さらにそれをもとにして、博物館・図書館などとの機能の相違や、実物史料の取り扱い方、史料の撮影や目録編成の理論などについて学んでいく。なお、受講に際し、相当の古文書読解能力が必要となるので、事前に古文書学あるいは古文書関係の講義等を受講していることが望ましい。また、実物の史料に触れることがあるので、特に丁寧な取り扱いを心がけてほしい。

本講義では、主としてアーキビストとして必要な知識を習得し、アーカイブズ学の概要を理解することを目的とする。アーカイブズの成り立ちや役割について国内外の事例から理解を深めるとともに、その保存・管理システムを構築するための学問分野であるアーカイブズ学の理論と体系について学び、様々なアーカイブズのあり方について考察する。またアーカイブズの実務に必要となる、評価選別、目録編成、利用審査、利用普及活動などに関する具体的な方法論について知見を深める。その上で、記録の収集、保存、整理公開、利活用の流れを総合的に理解し、知見を深めることを目的とする。

学校や病院等の災害拠点施設や地域コミュニティ，地方自治体における地震・津波に対する事前の危機管理（リスクマネジメント）と事後の危機管理（クライシスマネジメント）の現状と課題について講義する。また，国や地方自治体，社会全体に対して適切な防災・減災行動を取るための災害情報のあり方について講義を行う。具体的には，事前の防災情報（ハザードマップ等），災害直後の災害情報（地震動情報，津波情報等）の現状や過去の災害教訓などについて講義するとともに、現状の課題についてディスカッションしながら進める。
Understanding of risk management and crisis management against natural disaster will be a goal of this class. Lessons from the great east Japan earthquake 2011 are introduced with highlighting on disaster education and disaster information. A group discussion is taken in aggressively during a class.
