科学研究は、人々の幸福や社会の発展に大きく貢献していますが、他方、研究やその成果が、人々を傷つけるものであったり、人びとを誤った仕方で導いたりすることもあります。そのため、研究に従事する人々（大学生を含みます）は、倫理的・手続き的に正しい仕方で研究や研究発表を行なう責任を負っています。特に、人文社会科学では、実験・質問紙調査・フィールドワーク・聞き取り調査・歴史資料・インターネット情報の収集など様々な手法で研究が行なわれるため、多様な倫理的問題に対処しなければなりません。この授業では、研究倫理と公正な研究に関する基礎を講義し、その上で、それぞれの研究手法に応じた倫理的問題とその問題への対処方法について複数教員が担当し、解説します。
In this course, the theoretical basis of research ethics and integrity, as well as ethical problems typical of various research fields of humanities and social sciences are discussed.

The fundamentals are the observation of behavior and data collection and analysis. In this course, the students practically acquire the knowledge and skills essential for psychological research. The students are required to submit the report for each class.

研究不正には2つの側面がある。ひとつは、研究の科学的客観性を損なうという側面、もうひとつは被験者（調査対象者・調査協力者）の利益を損なうという側面である。本授業では、自然科学系の研究と人文社会系の研究の特性の差異を踏まえながら、これら2つの側面において研究不正を防止するために必要な基礎的知識（研究倫理の歴史、規範、課題など）の修得を目標とする。［Research misconduct has two aspects. One is the aspect of damaging the scientific objectivity of research, and the other is the aspect of harming the interests of subjects (respondents, participants). While taking account of the differences in the characteristics of research in the natural sciences and research in the humanities and social sciences, this course will provide students with the basic knowledge necessary to prevent research misconduct (history of research ethics, norms, key issues, etc.) in these two aspects. ］
社会調査に関する基本的な理解をふまえて、社会学的フィールドワークの方法、とくにインタビュー、質問紙法、モノグラフ的方法などについて学ぶ。実際のリサーチの準備、企画、デザイン、実査、解析などに参加すると同時に、研究と社会、専門家と協力者の関係、著述、表象、権力といった問題について考察し、調査倫理、研究倫理について理解を深める。
本年度は、岡田が主たる担当となり、寄付・ボランティア活動に関わるフィールドワークを予定している。
・Google Classroomを用いて、情報の共有を行う。クラスコードは別途アナウンスする。
・対面での授業を基本とし、状況に応じて、オンライン参加も可とする。
・学部におけるフィールドワーク経験、あるいは「フィールドワーク論（前期）」の受講を履修条件とする。
公正な研究活動とはなにかについて、また、環境問題、世界的情勢をはじめ様々な社会的問題を抱えるなか、研究者が社会に対して果たすべき責任とはなにか具体的事例を挙げながら講義をする。さらに、同様に、研究機関、企業、行政などが担うべき社会的責任とは何かを理解することで、社会人として、生命科学の知識をもった人材が果たせるべき責任について考える。
This course will educate students on what is fair research activity. In addition, this course will explain the responsibilities that researchers should fulfill to society in the midst of various social problems such as environmental issues and the global situation, citing specific examples. In addition, this course will provide students with an understanding of the social responsibilities that research institutions, companies, and governments should take on, as well as the responsibilities that human resources with knowledge of life sciences should fulfill as members of society.
この授業は、文学研究科の博士後期課程の学生を対象として、人文社会科学の幅広い視野を提供する。研究者として専門を深く掘り下げるために必要な広範な教養を体得してもらうこと、あるいは高度な専門性を具えた職業人として要求される俯瞰的な視野を涵養することを目指して、文学研究科の日本学専攻・広域文化学専攻・総合人間学専攻の教員が、それぞれの専門的な知見に基づいて、オムニバス形式で講義を提供する。
本年度は「戦争と平和」を共通テーマに据え、それを人文社会科学の多角的な観点から検討する。講義はすべてオンライン形式による。
This course is designed to provide doctoral students of the Graduate School of Arts and Letters with a broad range of academic knowledge in the humanities and social sciences. The purpose is to provide students with the broad background necessary to carry out exploratory research as researchers, or to cultivate the bird's-eye view required of highly specialized professionals. In order to achieve these aims, lectures are given in an omnibus format by faculty members from the Department of Japanese Studies, the Department of Global Humanities, and the Department of Integrated Human Sciences in the Graduate School of Arts and Letters.
This semester, the common theme is "War and Peace". We will discuss it from multiple perspectives in the humanities and social sciences. The lectures will be given in an online format.
知を生み出したり、活用したりする際に、どのような作法に従い、何を考慮すべきなのかについて理解することは、知識基盤型社会においては、研究職に限らず、様々な場で活躍する上で必要です。同時に、新しい知は次々に生まれており、その中で生じる問題に対処するためには、その作法自体も更新していくことが求められます。
現在、研究倫理に関する有用な指針は多くあるものの、個々の具体的な場面では、何が正しい行為なのかを判断することや、望ましい行為を実行することが難しいこともあります。その一方で、大学生活の中で、皆さんはこのような悩ましい問題に取り組み、作法を知るだけでなく、実践できるようになることが期待されています。
そこでこの授業では、皆さんが実際に学びや研究活動の中で直面しそうなジレンマが存在する事例を題材に、複数の行動の選択肢がそれぞれどのような価値を重視しているのか、その中で一般的にはどのような行為が推奨されるのか、その望ましい行為を妨げている原因や状況は何か、どうしたらその原因を取り除いたり、回避したりできるのかについて考えていきます。そして、より良い学習や研究を促す環境づくりに向けた、アイデアを出していただきます。
