本授業では、日本学の〈古典〉とされる様々な文献を講読し、日本学の歴史的な系譜を確認する。現在において日本学を考究することの可能性と困難さを考える。毎回発表者を立ててテキストを精読し、議論を行う。参加者には事前にテキストを熟読することが求められる。
In this course, we will read various documents considered to be 'classics' of Japanese studies and identify the historical genealogy of Japanese studies. The possibilities and difficulties of examining Japanese studies in the present day will be considered. Each time, a presenter will be appointed to read and discuss the texts. Participants are expected to read the texts in advance.
日本学に関する古典的な文献（著作・論文）・日本学の研究資料となる原典を丁寧に読む。日本学の古典の理解、原典の多面的な読解を通じて、日本学研究のテキストから多様な観点を引き出し、日本学研究の基盤とすると同時に、日本学の考え方・方法を身につける。
This course aims to improve concepts and methods of Japanese studies by reading classical materials related to Japanese studies and the source materials that serve as research materials for Japanese studies.
本授業では現代日本学に関連する論文の精読を行う。日本学は日本という地域を多角的に考察する学問であるため、その対象や研究方法もきわめて多様であり、本講義では様々な対象および方法論を検討する。受講者は学期中に最低一回の口頭報告を行う。
In this class, we will do a close reading of articles related to Innovative Japanese studies. In this course, we will examine a variety of subjects and methodologies. Students will give at least one oral presentation during the semester.
日本語学の基礎として、古典作品を読み、理解する手続きを学ぶ。また、そこにみられる日本語史上の問題について検討を加える。参加者は日本語史上の問題について調査・考察をおこない報告する。報告にあたっては、文献の調査・発表資料の作成など事前の準備が必要となる。作品は『源氏物語』。
In this course, you will learn the procedures for reading and understanding classical works as the basis of Japanese linguistics and Japanese studies. The text is "The Tale of Genji". You are required to prepare for class according to the goal and contents of each class.
英語で書かれた日本史の文献を取り上げその課題と方法・用語を習得し日本語に翻訳する。
Students will be introduced to works on Japanese history written in English, will gain an understanding of the issues, methods, and vocabulary used in them, and will translate them into Japanese.

この授業では、政治思想史の古典を講読する。授業の重要な目的は、学生が古典的著作の内容を正確に読み取る力を涵養することであり、プレゼンテーションおよびディスカッションの能力を陶冶することである。
In this course, students will read political classical writings. The main goal of the course is to help students accurately interpret the contents of classical texts in various perspectives and to cultivate their skills in presentation and discussion.
