This course teaches Japanese Legal History II. In this course, it will be discussed in an overview about the law of the Edo period, which is said to have had a big impact on modern legal thought, remarking the political and social conditions that led to them.

This course teaches Japanese Legal History I and covers the characteristics of the laws of each period. Also remarking the political and social conditions that led to them, the history of law in Japan from ancient times to the Warring States period will be discussed throughout the history.
この授業では、政治思想史の古典を講読する。授業の重要な目的は、学生が古典的著作の内容を正確に読み取る力を涵養することであり、プレゼンテーションおよびディスカッションの能力を陶冶することである。
In this course, students will read political classical writings. The main goal of the course is to help students accurately interpret the contents of classical texts in various perspectives and to cultivate their skills in presentation and discussion.
近年のハプスブルク君主国史研究においては、後継諸国の国民史的視点に基づくバイアスから自由な、むしろ国民史的視点には批判的な立場からの修正史の試みが盛んに行われており、ナショナリズに対する社会・文化史的アプローチがとられることが多いが、その反面、（とりわけ英語文献では）政治史研究はやや手薄になっている。本演習では、君主国末期の代表的な政治家（外交官）で、君主国末期に共通外相（1906 – 1912）を務めた人物についての下記の伝記研究を取り上げて、二重君主国の複雑な統治機構のメカニズムについての理解を深めることを目的とする。

本授業は、EUの租税法を本格的に研究することを目的とするものである。EUにおける議論は、租税法においては様々な分野において先進的なものであるが、本授業は、特に法人税と付加価値税（Value Added Tax）を中心テーマとして位置づける。とはいえ、これらを勉強する中で、付随的にEUの法形成過程にも触れることになる。多くの英語文献に触れることにより英語読解能力の涵養も図る。This Seminar teaches some basic methods of studying EU tax law. The main topic is corporate income tax adn value added tax of EU. You are required to read many English theses.
本演習は、判例研究・政策研究を通じて、社会保障法制が現在直面している法的問題・政策課題や制度の理念についての理解を深めると同時に、演習内での報告・議論を通じてプレゼンテーション能力・論理的思考力を高めることを目的とします。
演習は、報告班による報告をもとに、全員で議論する方式をとります。
原則として対面で実施します。
資料の配布等は、対面で配布のほか、Google Classroom を利用します(クラスコード：4vnkwpa）。
In this seminar, participants are required to give some presentations on social security law and discuss with the other students. The aim of this seminar is to understand actual questions around social security systems and enhance the abilities of logical thinking and presentation.
