This course aims to deepen participants' understanding of the functions and limitations of markets through a round-reading of the textbook " Reinventing the Bazaar: A Natural History of Markets" and discussions by participants. Focusing on the efficiency of competitive markets and the frictions in actual markets, participants will learn how market mechanisms work and how governments can complement market functions through the textbook's extensive examples.
個々の消費者や生産者の行動を基礎とする「ミクロ経済学」について基礎理論と応用を学びます。現実の経済で起きているさまざまな経済事象を論理的に考え、理解できる力を身につけることを目的とします。前半は、消費者の行動と生産者の行動などのミクロ経済学の基礎理論について、後半は、基礎理論を応用して現実問題の分析や最適な政策とはどうあるべきかについて説明します。
In this course, we study the foundational theories and applications of "microeconomics," which are based on the behaviors of individual consumers and producers. The goal is to develop the ability to logically analyze and understand various economic phenomena occurring in the real economy. The first half covers the basic theories of microeconomics, such as consumer behavior and producer behavior. The second half explains the application of these foundational theories to address real-world problems and discuss the optimal policies to deal with them.
本講義は、企業や国などが、株式・公社債等を発行して、必要な資金を証券市場を通じ直接貸し手から調達する直接金融についての理解を深め、当該市場や市場参加者を規制・監督する金融庁等の役割についての知識を習得することを目的とする。特に、欧米に比して利益率が低いとされる家計の金融資産運用の課題や展望について考察していきたい。
The purpose of this lecture is to deepen understanding of direct finance, in which companies and countries issue corporate bonds, stocks, and public bonds to raise necessary funds directly from lenders through securities markets,and to acquire knowledge of the roles of the Financial Services Agency and others that regulate and supervise such markets and market participants.
In particular, we would like to examine the challenges and prospects for households' financial asset management, which is less profitable than in the U.S. and Europe.
この授業では、公共部門である政府の資金調達（財政学）、支出の効果（公共経済学）の基礎的レベルを講義する。ここでは、経済理論的なアプローチに加えて、実証分析の手法と成果にも意が払われます。
In this class, I will teach the basic levels of public finance (revenue of public sector, government) and effects of expenditure (public economics). I will focus on empirical analysis methods and results, in addition to economic theory.

授業の目的・概要
本講義では、経済学的な側面から、社会・経済と深く関わる電力・エネルギーの需給メカニズムや供給体制を理解する上で必要な、消費者・生産者モデルや市場などの基礎概念を学ぶとともに、電力市場の特徴や電力システムのセキュリティと送電ネットワークとの関わりについて、電力システムの計画や運用における最新の動向も含めて学ぶ。

In this course, we will use Classroom to transmit lecture materials and lecture information.In this lecture, students will learn basic concepts such as consumer-producer model and market, which are necessary to understand the supply and demand mechanism and supply system of electricity and energy deeply related to society and economy from an economic perspective. Students will also learn about the characteristics of electricity markets and the relationship between electricity system security and transmission networks, as well as the latest trends in electricity system planning and operation.
