精神科治療技法である精神科薬物療法や身体療法、精神療法、認知・行動療法、作業療法・精神科デイケア等の治療技法と心身への影響について学ぶ。また、精神科救急・急性期にある患者に対する精神科治療技法を学ぶ。
To learn mental health treatment approaches including psychiatric treatment such as psychotropic medication, physical therapy, and psychotherapy; therapies including cognitive behavioural therapy, occupational therapy, and daycare in mental health services; and how these treatment approaches affect the person’s physical and psychological health. Mental health treatment approaches also include treatment for patients in psychiatric emergency and/or acute care units.

In this lecture, students will learn about the mind and health from the perspective of psychosomatic and behavioral medicine, and deepen their understanding of stress management. Psychosomatic medicine and behavioral medicine are new area of medicine. They explore the relationship between mind and body. Psychosomatic medicine and behavioral medicine are developing in the world. It is important to know the present knowledge of mind based on bodily function.

The purpose of this course is to deepen students' self-understanding and understanding of jobs through actual "working" experience from the first grades, and to consolidate what you have learned through post-work experience, thereby clarifying your future careers and making your student life more fulfilling.
The main career practical training and internship programs approved for this course are under "Type 2 Career Education" as defined by the "Industry-University Council on Employment and the Future of University Education," Keizai Doyukai internships, original class programs, and other programs exceeding 40 hours in length. The detailed schedule will be explained at the first orientation, so please be sure to attend.
グローバル化・多様化が進む現代社会において、日本の教育現場においても、学習者の国籍・文化・言語が多様化し、文化や社会背景の異なる人と共に暮らし、学び、働いていくための能力が、今までになく重要となってきている。そうした社会背景の中、本科目では、異文化間コミュニケーションにまつわる理論を学び、私たちの視点、思考、行動、価値観などへの文化の影響について理解を深めるだけでなく、異文化間コミュニケーションをめぐる認識への批判的な考察も加えた上での異文化間の人間関係やコミュニケーションのあり方を検討する。また、日本社会のマジョリティ集団である日本人の特権、マイノリティの差異に対する差別・偏見・ステレオタイプといった概念についても理解を深め、グローバル化に即した市民性の育成を担う教育者の在り方を考える。
この授業は全て日本語で行います。専門的な概念を学び、議論するため、N1程度の日本語能力が必要となります。
As society is increasingly globalized and diversified, even in Japanese educational settings, learners’ nationalities, cultures, and languages become more diverse, so competencies to live, learn, and work with people from different cultural and social backgrounds have become more crucial than ever. In this course, students will explore the theories necessary for intercultural communication, deepen their understanding of the influence of culture on their perspectives, ways of thinking, behavior, and values, and examine the nature of intercultural relationships and communication through critical discussion on the perceptions surrounding intercultural communication. Students will also deepen their understanding of the privilege of the Japanese as a majority group in Japanese society and the concepts of discrimination, prejudice, and stereotypes against minorities, and they also consider the role of educators in fostering citizenship in their students in the current context of globalization.
This course will be conducted entirely in Japanese. N1 level of Japanese language proficiency is required since students will study and discuss academic concepts.
