19世紀以降のフランスの文学批評の歴史を振り返ります。この授業では、20世紀の文学と思想に大きな影響を与えたポール・ヴァレリーの文学批評から、『詩学講義』（1937-1945）の一部を読み、その思考表現の特徴を分析します。
This course reviews the history of French literary criticism since the 19th century. In this class, we will read a portion of Paul Valéry's "Lectures on Poetics" (1937-1945) from his literary criticism, which had a great influence on 20th century literature and thought, and analyze the characteristics of his thought expression.
この授業では、フランス文学研究におけるさまざまな方法論を学びながら、実際の論文（レポート、研究ノート、学会誌投稿論文、修士論文や博士論文などの学位論文）を構想・執筆するに当たって最も重要となる問題設定の仕方と論理展開の方法について、実例をもとに実践的に考え、実習を通して執筆訓練を行います。

明治時代から第二次世界大戦中に至るまでの多様な小説を取り上げ、文化的・社会的な文脈を視野に入れて具体的に分析するとともに、テクスト分析の方法や、日本近現代文学の形成過程などについて概説を行う。
毎回の授業の終わりに、授業内容について考えたことや質問を提出してもらう。次回の授業で、その回答や補足説明も行いながら授業を進める。

物語論とは物語の構造や語りの機能を分析する文学理論のひとつです。G.ジュネットの著作からその主要概念を取り上げ、物語がどのように構成されているのかを具体的作品に基づいて考察していきます。物語形式の分析を通じて文学作品の主題や内容を考察できるよう、その方法論を学びましょう。
This course delves into narratology, a literary theory that scrutinizes the structure and narrative functions within a story. Drawing upon Gérard Genette's treatise, we will explore key concepts and dissect how stories are constructed by examining specific literary works. Students will acquire the necessary methodology to scrutinize the subject matter and content of literary pieces through a comprehensive analysis of narrative forms.
本授業では〈詩と散文〉（韻文と散文、詩歌と物語など）の境界や相互の交通を問うという観点で、古典から近現代にいたる日本文学の多様な問題について考察を行う。
授業は演習形式で、受講者は（1）自身の関心に基づく報告、（2）関連する文献の検討のいずれかを行う。
This class will examine various issues in Japanese literature from classical to modern times from the perspective of questioning the boundaries and interrelationships between "poetry and prose" (rhyming text and prose, poetry and narrative, etc.).
The class will be conducted in the form of exercises, in which students will either (1) report on their own interests or (2) review relevant literature.
【目的】中国語学習歴１年以上（中国語を母語とする者を除く）の受講生を対象に、中国語のより高度な読解能力を身につけてもらうことを目的として開講します。
【概要】現代中国語で書かれた随筆や短編小説を取り上げて精読します。それを通して、受講生が、これまでに学んできた中国語の基礎的な文法事項について再確認し、中国文化への理解を深めるとともに、中国語発音のブラッシュアップができるよう促します。授業ではテキストを輪番で音読し、読解しますので、受講生の十分な予習が求められます。なお、この授業は、中国語の講読演習を兼ねています。

This course aims to further improve the students' ability to read contemporary Chinese texts.
【Course Synopsis】
In this course, students read essays or short stories written in modern Chinese. Through reading, students review basic Chinese grammar, deepen knowledge about Chinese culture, and improve Chinese pronunciation. In every class, students are required to read aloud and translate the text into Japanese, therefore sufficient preparation is important.
