Course Title (授業題目)

Study of Chinese Grammar through reading Chinese Contemporary Prose

授業の目的と概要

【目的】中国語学習歴１年以上（中国語を母語とする者を除く）の受講生を対象に、中国語のより高度な読解能力を身につけてもらうことを目的として開講します。

【Course Objectives】
This course aims to further improve the students' ability to read contemporary Chinese texts.
【Course Synopsis】
In this course, students read essays or short stories written in modern Chinese. Through reading, students review basic Chinese grammar, deepen knowledge about Chinese culture, and improve Chinese pronunciation. In every class, students are required to read aloud and translate the text into Japanese, therefore sufficient preparation is important.

①現代中国語で書かれた随筆文や短編小説を、辞書を使いながら読んで理解し、適切な日本語に訳すことができる。
②現代中国語の文法についての高度な知識を習得し、文章の文構造を把握できる。
③現代中国語で書かれた文章を正しい発音で音読することができる。

①Students will be able to read essays or short stories written in modern Chinese and translate them in accurate Japanese by using dictionary.
②Students will acquire further knowledge about Chinese grammar, and be able to grasp the grammatical constructions of Chinese texts.
③Students will pronounce Chinese texts correctly.

The materials will be handed out at the beginning of the course.

授業時間外学習

予習：単語の発音や意味を調べ、文構造や文法事項に留意しながら試訳文を作成する。
復習：主要な単語や文を暗記し、文構造を正しく理解できるようにする。

Preparation: Students are required to look up pronunciation and meaning of words in dictionary, translate the texts into Japanese with careful attention to grammatical constructions.
Review: Students are required to memorize important words and sentences and understand grammatical construction of texts.
