In this class continued from Sanskrit (Introduction to classical Sanskrit literature I), we aims to deepen our understanding of Sanskrit grammar and vocabulary through reading texts in Lanman's "A Sanskrit Reader." We will read as much as possible by referring to Whitney's "Sanskrit Grammar" and Speijer's "Sanskrit Syntax" as well as the textbook's glossary and explanatory notes.

In this class, we aims to deepen our understanding of Sanskrit grammar and vocabulary through reading texts in Lanman's "A Sanskrit Reader." In this course, students will read Satapatha-Brahmana I 6,3. The course provides students with essential discipline in Indian philology. It also help students learn about grammar, vocabulary, and syntax of Sanskrit as well as the Veda.
In this class, we will study the basics of Classical Japanese grammar by reading an assortment of texts from the various periods of the Japanese language. We will start with a brief overview of Classical Japanese grammar and syntax, after which we will go through each major period of the classical language (Old Japanese, Early Middle Japanese, Late Middle Japanese and Early Modern Japanese) in order, reading excerpts from famous works of literature from each period.

Spanish pronunciation is nearly phonetic, which makes it less challenging for learners compared to English. Spanish is often considered relatively easy for Japanese learners to pick up.
Throughout this course, you will acquire fundamental communication skills necessary for Spanish. Through practical activities, you will develop the ability to respond to real-life communication situations.
