Introduction to classical Sanskrit literature II

授業の目的と概要

前期に引き続き，ランマンの『サンスクリット読本』をテキストとして読解演習を行い，サンスクリット語の文法・語彙の理解を深める。テキストの語彙集・注記ばかりでなく，ホイットニーの文法書およびシュパイエルの統語法書を適宜参照しながら読み進める。

Course Objectives and Course Synopsis(授業の目的と概要)

In this class continued from Sanskrit (Introduction to classical Sanskrit literature I), we aims to deepen our understanding of Sanskrit grammar and vocabulary through reading texts in Lanman's "A Sanskrit Reader." We will read as much as possible by referring to Whitney's "Sanskrit Grammar" and Speijer's "Sanskrit Syntax" as well as the textbook's glossary and explanatory notes.

授業時間外学習

個々の語形を文法的に解析したうえ，指定された部分を訳しておくこと。毎回の授業の復習に充分に時間をかけること。

その他

サンスクリット語初級の知識を有すること。夏セメスターのサンスクリット語（サンスクリット語基礎演習I）と合せて受講するのが望ましい。
