倫理学および生命倫理の最も基本となる原則や概念を理解し、実践的問題に応用できるようになる。同領域を初学者に教育できる。研究倫理、臨床倫理および公衆衛生倫理すべての基礎となる倫理学および生命倫理の基本テーマを扱う。This course examines major fundamental theories, principles, concepts, and controversies in ethics and bioethics. The course is intended to serve as a basis of all other courses.
臨床倫理に係る倫理的問題を包括的に教育する。また臨床倫理コンサルテーションに参加しコンサルテーションの実際的手続きを経験する。This course provides students with comprehensive educational regarding practical clinical ethics. Students also participate in clinical ethics consultation held in Tohoku University Hospital and other healthcare institutions.
公衆衛生領域の主要倫理課題を考察する。This course examines major ethical issues in public ethics as well as national healthcare system
本コースでは映画作品鑑賞と少人数議論を交互に行い、生命医療倫理関連問題について医療人文学的アプローチを行う。
This course presents students commercial films as case involving ethical dilemmas and the students discuss identified moral problems in a small group from the medical humanities’ standpoint of view.
主要国際雑誌に掲載された生命医療倫理問題に関する実証研究論文を精読し、実例を通して、多様な研究方法を学ぶ。同時にJeremy Sugarman, Daniel P. Sulmasy EditionのMethods in Medical Ethics 2nd edition.（Georgetown University Press, 2010）を用いて関連方法論を学ぶ.
This course is intended to serve as an opportunity to read various types of empirical research papers in the field of biomedical ethics in major international journals. The course focuses on detailed methodologies applied in these published studies.
目的：
(1) 臨床場面において、患者の意思を尊重しながら、倫理性・社会性・科学性に基づいた合理的な意思決定が行えるように修練する。
(2) 人間の生老病死にまつわる科学技術と医療、社会との関わりを考察することで、医療職に求められる高い水準の規範、倫理観、死生観を涵養する。
(3) 社会の要請に対応したプロフェッショナリズムを身に付け、適切なリーダーシップや倫理・心理・社会的問題に対応できる能力を養う。
概要 :
講義を中心とし、一部少人数ディスカッションを行う。

(1) To be able to make rational decisions based on ethical, social, and scientific aspects while respecting patients' intentions in clinical settings.
(2) To cultivate the high-level norms, ethics, and views of life and death required for medical profession by examining the relationship between science and technology, medical care, and society related to human aging and mortality.
(3) To acquire professionalism that responds to the demands of society, and to develop appropriate leadership and the ability to respond to ethical, psychological and social issues.

Lecture is a main part of this course, including occasional small group discussions.
人を対象にした医学系研究に係る倫理的問題を包括的に教育する。また研究倫理審査委員会に陪席し倫理審査の実際を経験する。This course provides comprehensive educational program concerning research ethics with humans. Students observe research ethics reviews in Tohoku University Graduate School of Medicine and Tohoku University Hospital.
