Understand molecular mechanisms of how genetic information on the genome is conserved, copied, transcribed, and functions are expressed, and how these mechanisms are regulated. And gain knowledge the principles and methods of molecular biology-based technologies applied in medicine, such as genetic diagnosis, testing, and gene therapy.
In this lecture, the first half will lecture on characteristics of intracellular signaling molecule and receptor, intracellular signaling mechanism. In the latter half, we outline the components of the cytoskeleton and intercellular adhesion and lecture on the relationships with cell morphology, migration and division. Also lecture on molecular mechanism of cell cycle, cell division and cell death. Furthermore, we will explain the canceration of the cells, metastatic mechanism, morphogenesis, maintenance of tissue homeostasis, etc. on the background of these knowledge.
