受講者各自が中国思想、哲学についての研究テーマを選択して研究発表を行い、研究水準を向上させるとともに、明晰な表現力、質問に的確に答え、効果的に人を説得する能力も涵養する。さらには、他の受講生の発表への批評を通して、他者の意見を批判的に吟味する機会ともする。
The aim of this course is to supply students with an opportunity of delivering their own essay on any philosophical topic they choose, and thereby to help them to enhance their level of research, to develop their ability to express their thought clearly, to respond to each question accurately, and to persuade others effectively. Students are also given a chance of thinking critically about other opinions, through commenting on essays of other students.
前期での発表や討議にもとづいて、受講者各自が、それぞれの研究テーマにもとづく論文の草稿を作成して発表するとともに、受講者全員が、その発表にもとづいて自由に討論する。
Based on the presentations and discussions in the former semester, each student will prepare and present a draft of a paper about their own research theme, and all students will discuss the paper.
中国中世の仏教について、学術の形式や思想活動の場、信仰と実践、また史学や医学、文学などの文化全般との関わりに注意しながら考察する。
In this course Chinese medieval Buddhism will be discussed, paying attention to their academic forms and sites of intellectual activity, rituals and practices, as well as their relationship to culture in general, including history, medicine and literature.
7世紀以後、20世紀までの中国思想史を概観する。仏教と道教の隆盛を経て儒家思想の再生がなされた隋唐時代に始まり、朱子学と陽明学、考証学を高峰とする近世の思想、西洋思想との接触により伝統の再編がなされた近現代の思想について、原典の日本語訳を材料に解説する。
This course provides an overview of the history of Chinese thought from the 7th century onward through the 20th century. Beginning with the Sui and Tang dynasties, which saw the revival of Confucian thought after the rise of Buddhism and Daoism, and continuing through the early modern period, with Zhu Zi School, Yang Ming School, and philology of Qing dynasty as the high peaks, to modern and contemporary thought, in which contact with Western thought led to a reorganization of tradition, will be explained using Japanese translations of original texts as material.
唐・孔穎達（574-648）等撰『礼記正義』礼運篇を会読する。各版本を参照し、阮元校勘記の成績を検証もしながら、中国思想文献の精確な訳注を作成する能力を涵養するのが本演習の目的である。
This course is a reading of the chapter of The Conveyance of Rites(禮運）, from the Right Meaning of the Ritual Records (禮記正義) edited by Kong Yingda（孔穎達） and other scholars at Tang period. The aim of the course is to cultivate the ability to produce accurate translations of Chinese thought literature, while paying attention to the different edition and examing the revision of Ruan Yuan（阮元）.
中国語で書かれた現代中国語文法を扱った論文を精読し、中国語を読む能力と現代中国語に関する文法問題を考える能力の養成を目的とする。また、論文に関連する文法現象のなかで、受講生が各自テーマを絞って、最後にレポートとしてまとめる。全体を通して、現代中国語文法に関する知識を深め、基本的な研究手法を習得する。
This course aims to improve students’ ability in reading Chinese and approaching linguistic research questions about modern Mandarin Chinese. Also, students are required to find a certain topic related to the articles we read in class and write a report accordingly in the end of the semester. In the end of this course, students will gain knowledge about modern Chinese linguistics and learn how to apply some of the basic research techniques when writing a report.
受講者が各自の研究テーマとその進度に応じて発表を行い、参加者全員による討議を行う。研究の進行に必要とされる方法論や発表方法について議論が行われる。/ Students will present on their own research topic and their progress, which will then be debated by all present. We will discuss research methods necessary for further research, and presentation skills.
参加者が各自の研究テーマに即して研究史の整理と研究史上の問題点の指摘とを行い、その報告をめぐって討論する。発表者にはそれぞれコメンテーターを付ける。参加者それぞれが、専門とする研究対象や分野の垣根を超えて活発な議論を行うことによって、相互の問題意識を深め、研究方法を錬磨していくことを目指す。
