実質10日間以上（60時間以上）にわたる企業等での就業体験またはボランティア体験について、2単位を授業単位として認める。大まかな流れは以下の通りである。
(1) ４月 履修を希望する学生は、ガイダンスに出席する。
(2) ４月～７月 履修学生は、学部が提供する受入企業等の情報をもとに、あるいはみずから情報を収集して、各自インターンシップに応募し、受入内諾書を得しだい教務係に提出する。
(3) 夏期休業中 履修学生は、実習を行い、実習修了証明書および報告書・評価書（いずれも学部で定めた様式による）を終了後１週間以内に教務係に提出する。
(4) １月 履修学生は、報告会で報告する。
インターンシップまたはボランティアを通じて，大学で学んだ知識が実社会においてどのように役立つかを検討する．

就業体験や事前準備を通じて自分の興味・関心や将来のキャリアを明確化し、学生生活や研究への取り組みをより一層充実したものとすることを目的として、博士前期課程・修士課程在学中にインターンシップ・キャリア実習（就業体験を含むキャリア教育）を行う。本科目が対象とするのは「採用と大学教育の未来に関する産学協議会」の定める「タイプ２キャリア教育」または「タイプ３汎用的能力・専門活用型インターンシップ」に該当するプログラムで実習時間が80時間以上のものである。
The purpose of this course is for students to participate in an internship while enrolled in the master's program, clarify their interests and future careers, and further enrich their student life and research efforts.
これまでに受講してきた日本語教員養成課程を通して得た知識とスキルを踏まえて、長期休業中に約２週間海外の日本語教育現場に行き、どのような学習者がどのような学習環境で日本語を学習しているのかを知り、どのような日本語教育が行われているのかを見学し、さらに現地日本語コースの教員の指導のもとで日本語を実際に教えることを体験する。同時に現地における異文化や異文化コミュニケーションを体験する。なお、本年度は２、３月中に実施する予定である。
This class provides students with opportunities to participate in Japanese language education internship abroad for 2 weeks. The students will see what people are learning Japanese language oversea and how Japanese language classes are conducted, and have experience to teach Japanese in classes as a student teacher.
