本講義では，医療経済学における代表的なトピックスについて，学部レベルの基礎的な内容を速習したのちに，より発展的な大学院レベルの経済モデルを紹介する。

近年の医療経済学はミクロデータを用いた実証研究が中心となっているので，基礎的な因果推論の考え方や各トピックスの研究でよく用いられているミクロ計量経済学の手法についても紹介する。
