The main aims of this course are to read the text about Korean culture and learn the expressions and grammar items that were not covered in "Basic Korean I and II" and "Developed Korean I and II."

In addition to just learning the Korean language, this course will also deepen the student’s understanding of other cultures from a comparative cultural point of view.

東アジアの大衆文化は、最近急速に相互交流が進んでいる。ドラマ、映画、音楽、漫画、ファッション、SNS等々の各分野で「韓流」「日流」「華流」のブームが見られるように、国境の枠を超えた流通と相互交流が行われるようになっている。授業では主に東アジアの日本、韓国、中国、台湾での大衆文化の交流のあり方を検討していく。主に佐野が2000年代以降の「韓流」と「日流」、「華流」を取り上げ、相互の文化交流のあり方を検討する。その後、学生が発表を担当し、東アジアでの文化流通の様々な様相を検討していく。/As for the mass culture of the East Asia, mutual interchange advances recently.
