資本主義の歴史的性格、資本主義経済システムの構造及び運動法則を理解するとともに経済学がそれとどのように関わってきたのかを理解する。
Main objective is to understand historical character, structure, and system of capitalist economy. And understanding how econmics were related to these factors is another objective.
労働価値説は、アダム・スミスやデビッド・リカード等の古典派経済学における中心的概念である。これを受け継いだマルクス経済学は、価格とは別に価値の概念を有する点や循環的な経済システム観を持つ点で、現代の主流派経済学とは異なっている。この授業では、貨幣、労働価値および価格メカニズムによって所得分配が決定される市場経済の基礎的な理論を学ぶ。 The Labor Theory of Value has been the central concept of the classical economics represented by Adam Smith, David Ricardo and so on. The successor,Marxian economics,is different from modern mainstream economics in that it has the concept of value in addition to price and that it has a circular view of the economy. In this course, we learn the basic theory of money,labor value and the market economy in which the income distribution is decided by price mechanism.
マルクス経済学による資本主義経済分析の初歩、マルクスらの歴史に関する考え方の概要、中国経済について講義する。
The object of this course is to teach some basic points of Marxian economic analysis of capitalist economy and Marxian view on history, subsequently to provide an overview on modern Chinese economy.
第一部では、マルクス経済学の初歩を説明する。第二部では、マルクスらの唯物史観の概要を説明する。第三部では、現在でも社会主義を標榜する中国をとりあげ、その過去と現状を概説する。
In the first part of this course, I will introduce some basic concepts of Marxian analysis of capitalist economy (e.g., class, exploitation, surplus labor etc.). In the second part, I will explain Marxian historical materialism. Finally, in the third part, I will provide an overview of Chinese economy since 1949.

本授業では、学生による国際開発学を対象とした発表をもとに質疑応答をおこない、課題や方法論についての整理を行うことにより論文作成の方法を習得する。 Every student is requested to give a presentation on international development in the class once or twice per semester. When a student is appointed as a reporter, he or she must prepare a handout of report based on his or her own research topics and their related papers. Presentation is welcomed to have use of slides written by, for instance, Power-point program.
この講座の目的は、社会科学のさまざまな理論を駆使して、グローバルガバナンスと持続可能な開発への理解を深めることにある。とくにSDGs（Sustainable Development Goals持続可能な開発目標）に関心を向けながら、これらへの理解を深めることにある。SDGsとは国連が掲げるグローバルな目標であり、これの中心的な要素が「グローバルガバナンス」「持続可能な開発」といったテーマにほかならない。これらのテーマは、市場経済、社会福祉、地球環境、平和・安全保障などの問題と密接に関連している。この講座では、政治学や国際関係論のコンセプトや理論をつかって、これらの問題を捉えていく。
The aim of this course is to gain comprehensive knowledge of global governance and sustainable development by using various theories of the social sciences. In particular, the aim is to gain such knowledge while paying special attention to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — the goals for the global community set by the United Nations. The central elements of the SDGs include global governance and sustainable development, and the latter two notions are associated with issues such as the market economy, social welfare, the global environment, peace and security. This course sheds light on various aspects of these issues by utilizing analytical concepts and theories used in the fields of Political Science and International Relations.
