地球掘削科学コンソーシアムでは、神戸大、産総研,科学博物館、JAMSTECなどで実習、講義を行なっている。さらに独自にコアスクールも開催している。これらいずれかの実習／講義に参加し、所定のレポートを提出することで単位認定する。東北大で独自開講は行わない。

This is the lecture organized by other institutions, including Kobe Univ. AIST, JAMSTEC. J-DESC organize the special school and this school is laso a subject. By attending one of them and submitting reports, credits will be granted.

  インターンシップ特別研修 / Internship training

海外での１週間以上の研修、調査、分析などを主対象にする。就職活動のための企業インターンシップは単位として認めない。

Credits will be granted when you attend international researches (field surveys, analyses, etc) more than one week.

合宿形式で１週間程度の野外調査演習を行う。それによって地質調査の一般的手法を学ぶだけでなく、自然界における岩石の多様性やその意義に関しても修得する。更にプレセンテーションやレポートとして成果をまとめる。９月１日から８日の予定。経費は３万円程度の予定。

This is the field excersise course for IGPAS students. There is no reguraly or officially scheduled field excursion. Please consutl your supervisor or Prof. Kakegawa for more details. We use 2 or 3 weekends during October to December. We will visit geothermal areas in Iwate and Akita Prefectures. In addition, we will visit oil fields in Akita prefecture. We stay at Japanese style Ryokan and costs will be charged to each.

野外での実習を通して岩石の産状や多様性を学ぶ。地質図学に必要な基礎知識、テクニックを学ぶ。移動は基本的に学校所有のバスを使用する。遠方に出かける場合は仙台に戻る時間が遅くなる事がある。
