    take Exercises in Organic Chemistry A and Organic ChemistryⅠ A and ⅡA( class concerning spectroscopy)

    化学C、専門基礎化学III、有機化学概論A、C、Dの連続した有機化学に関する講義の一部である。先行して開講された化学Cの内容を受け、以下の内容について講義する。

    (1)化学反応性と反応機構

    (2)置換反応

    (3)アルケンの構造、合成、反応

    (4)アルキン

    これらの内容を通じ、有機化学反応の理解の仕方、特に、電子の流れの矢印を利用して化学反応を理解できることを目的とする。命名法などの「決まり事」については自習事項とし、どのように分子の構造と特徴、それらの反応を理解することに重点を置く。

    This class is one of a series of classes for organic chemistry and contains following topics:

    (1) Chemical reactions and their mechanism

    (2) Substitution reaction

    (3) Alkene: structure, synthesis, and reactions

    (4) Alkyene

    The goal of the class is to understand the way of organic chemical reactions by using curved arrows that represent movement of electrons in the polar reactions. Other trivial issues, such as nomenclature, are supposed to be self-studied by students.

    Organic compounds represent the building blocks of life, are essential to survival and compose a wide range of materials used in our everyday lives. Understanding the fundamental properties and behavior of organic compounds has led to several advancements in medicine, energy production, functional materials, environmental control, and in general has greatly improved technology and quality of life. In this course, the objective will be to build a solid understanding of the fundamentals of organic chemistry, learn about structure and reactions of organic compounds and observe where organic chemistry is being used to enhance current technology and improve the quality of human life.

    Organometallic compounds that have a carbon-metal bond are located in the boundary region between organic chemistry and inorganic chemistry. In this lecture, synthetic methods, structures and bonds, reactivity, catalytic action, usage for organic synthetic reactions for organic transition metal compounds will be explained.

In this course, students learn the basic concepts of organic chemistry and their applications to specific substances.
