現代中国語の言語的特徴について、理解を深めることを目的とする。まず、現代中国語に関する概説を読み、その全体像をある程度把握したうえで、テーマ別の研究論文の精読を通して、中国語学における重要な概念や構文、さらに、問題意識の置き方や研究手法について学習する。

In this course, students read essays about the differences in Japanese and Chinese cultures and customs. This course aims to enhance their reading comprehension in Mandarin Chinese as well as help them to learn more about the society and culture of China.
初級中国語で学習した基本文型や語彙の基礎に、表現力を鍛える。会話文の中で使われる中国語のことわざの学習を通じて、語学の習得とともに、異文化にも触れる。
This course aims to help students to develop their communication skills in Mandarin Chinese upon the foundation of the basic sentence patterns and vocabulary that they learned at the beginner level. In the process of learning Chinese proverbs used in the dialogues, students will have the chance to know the Chinese culture better besides acquiring the language skills.
