On the basis of various lecture courses and practical training in geoenvironmental sciences, students select individual research subjects for their thesis from the geoenvironmental science and related fields, and prepare undergraduate thesis as a culmination of research and education in the field.
１．目的
本科目は卒業研究である。指導教員の指定した研究課題について、調査、実験、計算などを行うとともに、これらのことを通じて、化学技術者・指導者としての意識や資質を育むことを目的とする。
２．概要
4年次の初めに決定した所属研究室において、各教員の指導を受けながら一年間履修する。学年末に教員、学生などが出席する発表会で研究成果を発表するとともに、卒業論文としてまとめる。
３．達成目標等

1. Object
This course covers the research for graduation, which aims to develop their senses of chemical engineers and/or leaders by doing original researches, experiments and calculations on their theses allocated by the supervisor
2. Abstract
This course covers the graduation research for students doing for a year in the laboratory that is determined in the beginning of this course. In the end of course, students are required to have a presentation in front of academic staffs and students and summarize the content of research as a graduation thesis.
3. Goal of study
- Able to do research and complete the summarization of research results before the deadline under a given condition
- Able to consider and understand human welfares
- Able to recognize engineering ethics and reflect it in their actions
- Able to logically describe, have presentation and discussion, and also have basic communications with English
- Able to positively do their own research action and keep their learning
- Able to utilize and apply their knowledge on natural science, basic engineer sense and special technical skill toward solving issues
- Able to develop experimental skills required to solve issues on chemistry and technology.

これまでに修得した基礎的・臨床的知識をもとに、それぞれ設定したテーマに関して研究を行います。各研究室の教員の指導のもとに、研究を進める上での論理的な考え方、情報の収集や整理法、発表や討議の方法、論文作成に必要な知識・技術など、研究を進め完成させるために必要な基本技術を学びます。
Students will study a specific topic based on the basic and clinical knowledge which they have acquired before the start of research. Under the guidance by adviser in each laboratory, students will learn logical thinking, gathering and organizing of scientific information, presentation method, and writing method of research paper.
学生は各自の研究テーマに関して、保健学科等の教員の指導のもとで研究のプロセスを学び、
研究成果を発表する。
Students will learn the research process under the guidance of faculty members of the Department of Health Sciences and other departments on their own research topics.
The results of the research will be presented.
