医療や福祉を発展させるために必要な複数の課題について、ブレインストーミング等を通して抽出し、課題解決のためにどのような技術が必要であるかを考える。特にセンサやアクチュエータの創製、情報処理技術やシステム化などに関するテーマについては講義を行う。学生は複数回ブレインストーミングや情報収集を行い、発表と討論も行い結論となる解決方法を考え、理解を深める。
