In this course, students learn the practice of infrastructure planning through the various exercises, including transport demand forecasting, project evaluation, economic analysis and mathematical programming.
In each class, the lecturer gives a small exercise, and students do it, individually or by group. In some exercises, students are required computer calculation or presentation.
The goal of this course is to acquire the basic skills of transport demand forecasting, project evaluation, economic analysis and mathematical programming.

「計画数理及び同演習」の内容と密接に関わるので同時に履修することを強く推奨する．

授業時に課される課題を提出するだけでなく，配布される講義資料により授業内容を復習し，理解できていない点があれば質問を用意し，次回授業時に質問すること．
Students are required not only to submit class assignments but also to review each class using handouts. If there remain any parts they can not understand, they should ask questions in the next class.
