【目的】
中小規模の施設の機能や性格を理解し、その設計能力を身に付ける。
【概要】
住宅を主な設計対象とした建築設計AⅡ、中規模の施設を対象とした建築設計BⅠに対して、建築設計BⅡでは中規模の施設を考えるうえで重要なアプローチを理解し、その設計を行う。
建築設計B Ⅱでは、課題を進める中で、社会的な視点、歴史的な視点、構造的な視点、設備的な視点など、様々な切り口が示される。決められたビルディングタイプを解くことよりも、建築をめぐる諸問題を学び、自らその解決のための空間デザインやプログラムを提案することが求められる。様々なスケールの模型と図面の作成を通じてエスキースが行われ、最終成果物としてプレゼンテーションボード，模型等の作成が求められるほか，教官に対する効果的なプレゼンテーションを行う。
【達成目標等】
中規模施設を設計する際に必要となる、様々な機能や性格を統合しつつ空間を創出する能力の獲得を目標とする。

Object in Class subject
To understand the function and character of small to medium scale facilities and acquire the skills to design them.
Object and summary of class
In contrast to Architectural Design AII mainly for design of houses and Architectural Design BI for medium-scale facilities, Architectural Design BII promotes the understanding of important approaches in consideration of medium-scale facilities and conducts their design. Architectural Design BII demonstrates various social, historical, structural and equipment-related perspectives as exercises progress. Rather than focusing on one particular building type, students learn about the various issues surrounding architecture and are required to propose spatial design and programmes in order to propose solutions themselves. The teaching staff advises students based on drawings and models created on various scales. The submission of coursework such as drawings, presentation boards and models as well as effective presentations in front of teaching staff are required.
Goal of study
While integrating the various functions and characteristics that are required when designing medium-scale facilities, the objective is to acquire the skills to create spaces.

・都市・建築デザインコースは、必修である。都市・建築学コースは選択必修である。
・建築設計CI、CII、建築設計Dを履修するためには、原則として本科目を履修しておかなければならない。

In principle, the students who wish to take the Architectural Design CI, CII or D, must complete this subject.

課題を進める中で、社会的な視点、歴史的な視点、構造的な視点、設備的な視点など、様々な切り口が示される。決められたビルディングタイプを解くことよりも、建築をめぐる諸問題を学び、自らその解決のための空間デザインやプログラムを提案することが求められる。
実施方法は対面とオンラインを組み合わせたハイブリッドとする。直近の感染状況を見ながら、適時授業中に指示する。

課題に関連する情報を、現地や他事例の観察、各種資料から収集する。
Gather information related to issues from observations of local and other cases, and various materials.
全ての課題を決められた期限内に提出することが前提となる。前提を満たした上で、社会性のある提案力、建築各部の美的構成力、三次元の読解力などをベースに、図面の完成度、プログラムの展開力、構造・素材に対する理解などが評価される。課題に対する製作・発表内容、授業・エスキースへの出席状況を総合して評価する。
Evaluation will be based on class participation, presentation, and a final result.
