　文化人類学的フィールドワークの実践
　Practice of cultural anthropological fieldwork

授業の目的と概要/Object and Summary of Class

　文化人類学が長年培ってきたフィールドワークによる調査法を学び、各自の調査研究にどのように活かせばよいかを模索する。
　
　Students will learn the fieldwork research methods that cultural anthropology has developed over the years and explore how they can be applied to their own research.

学習の到達目標/Goal of study

　各自のテーマに沿ってフィールドワークの具体的な計画を立て、実際に現場に入って調査を実践すると同時に、調査研究の成果発表を通じて調査をめぐる問題点や課題に関して互いに研鑽する。

　　Students will make specific plans for fieldwork based on their own themes, actually go into the field to conduct research, and at the same time, study the issues and problems surrounding research through presentations of the results of their research.

授業内容・方法と進度予定/Contents and progress schedule of the class

　授業では、フィールドワークに関する基本文献をベースに、フィールドワーク経験者の体験談を交えながら、現地調査の全体像や倫理的問題、参与観察や聞き取りの具体的な方法、フィールドノートのとり方、調査データの整理と分析の進め方、考察のまとめ方等を演習形式で学んでいく。また、各自の調査研究に関する計画発表や成果発表を随時行い、授業参加者全員によるディスカッションを通してフィールドワークに関する実践的な理解を深める。

　　In the class, based on the basic literature on fieldwork, we will learn the overall picture of field research, ethical issues, specific methods of participant observation and interviewing, how to take field notes, how to organize and analyze the survey data, and how to summarize the discussion, etc. in an exercise format, while sharing the experiences of those who have done fieldwork. In addition, students will make presentations on their research plans and results as needed, and deepen their practical understanding of fieldwork through discussions with all class participants.

成績評価方法/Evaluation method

　出席およびディスカッションへの参加状況（60％）や、各自の調査研究に関する計画もしくは成果の発表（40％）を総合的に判断する。
　
　Students will be judged on the basis of their attendance and participation in discussions (60%) and the presentation of their research plans or results (40%).
