モーリス・メルロ＝ポンティの『知覚の現象学』講読/Reading of Merleau-Ponty’s Phenomenology of Perception

授業の目的と概要/Object and Summary of Class

　20世紀のフランスを代表する現象学者、モーリス・メルロ＝ポンティ『知覚の現象学』を精読し、その内容を検討することで、人間形成における「自我」と「時間」、さらには「世界」の機能を考察する。
　/The purpose of this seminar is to consider the philosophical functions of “ego”, “time” and “world” in human formation by reading deeply Merleau-Ponty’s Phenomenology of perception.

学習の到達目標/Goal of study

　学生が哲学的な文献を丹念に読み込み、自発的にテーマを見つけ、検討する能力の獲得。
　/ Goals of this seminar are to lead students to acquire the ability to find and think spontaneously their own themes through the close reading of philosophical texts.

　『知覚の現象学』第3部第2章「時間性」を毎回読み進める。

　/Copies of text (French) and translations (English and Japanese) will be distributed to students, according to the languages acquired by them.

成績評価方法/Evaluation method

　発表要旨の作成、議論への参加、期末レポートから総合的に判断する。
　/ Grading is based on preparation of summary, discussion in the class and a report at the end of semester.
