成人教育への質的調査
Qualitative Research to Adult Education

授業の目的と概要/Object and Summary of Class

この授業の柱は次の2つである。1つめは、質的調査法を理解することである。2つめは、質的調査法を用いて、日本における成人基礎教育の実態を実証的に分析することである。受講者には、質的調査法を理解したうえで調査・研究に取り組むとともに、成人基礎教育実践への教育的関与と貢献が求められる。

This course consists of two main parts. First, students should deepen their understanding of qualitative research. Second, students investigate the actual state of adult education in Japan using qualitative research methods. Students are required to have both an understanding of qualitative research methods and an educational involvement and contribution to the volunteer-based adult education practices.

学習の到達目標/Goal of study

（1）質的調査法に関する理論的基礎を身につけることができる。
（2）質的調査法を用いて研究の計画を立てることができる。
（3）質的調査法によって成人基礎教育の実態を理解することができる。

（1）The purpose of this course is to help students develop basic knowledge of qualitative research.
（2）Students will be able to design qualitative research.
（3）The aim of this course is to help students explore the situation of adult basic education through qualitative research.

成績評価方法/Evaluation method

授業での発表・取り組み（80%）、期末レポート（20%）による評価を行う。
Students are evaluated on their presentations and class participation (80%) and the final report(20%).

授業時間外学習/Preparation and Review

学外での調査を実施するため、授業時間外の活動への参加も求められる。

Students are required to participate in fieldwork outside of class hours.
