スポーツの社会学を学ぶ/seminor on sociology of sport

授業の目的と概要/Object and Summary of Class

産業形態の変化、ライフスタイルの変容、高齢化など、様々に変容する現代社会において、身体活動の意義は見直されつつある。同時に、市場と結びついたスポーツの肥大化も進み、私たちのスポーツとのかかわりは多様化している。現代におけるスポーツの諸相を社会学的に理解しようとする。関連領域の文献を、特に、事例研究に焦点をあてながら検討する。質的データに関する演習を行う可能性もある。

The significance of physical activity is being reassessed in a modern society that is undergoing various changes such as changes in industrial forms, lifestyle changes, and aging. At the same time, the bloat of sports linked to the market is progressing, and our involvement with sports is diversifying. Trying to sociologically understand aspects of modern sports. Review relevant literature, with a particular focus on case studies. There is also the possibility of conducting exercises on qualitative data.

学習の到達目標/Goal of study

スポーツ社会学、体育社会学領域、中でも事例研究に関する理解を深める。スポーツや体育という語を広義にとらえながら、それらに関する何気ない話題から、人々の暮らしにかかわる課題を考察する姿勢を身につける。

Deepen understanding of sports sociology, especially case studies. While grasping the terms sports and physical education in a broad sense, acquire the ability of considering issues related to people's lives from casual topics related to them.
