授業の目的と概要/Object and Summary of Class

医療に特有性の高い情報の非対称性、結果の不確実性、外部性、福祉性について概説し、医療を取り巻く財政状況、医療提供体制と患者受療動向、診療報酬制度による誘導、補助金の役割について理解する。

[Special aspects of medicine such as asymmetric information (information divide), uncertainty of results, externalities and welfare are reviewed. To learn financial issues of health care, health care delivery system/patients behavior, incentive through payment system, and the role of subsidy.]

学修の到達目標/Goal of study

医療経済学に関する基本的知識及び考え方を習得する。

[To learn the basic knowledge and point of view regarding the health economics.]

授業内容・方法と進度予定/Contents and progress schedule of the class

本授業は講義を中心に進めるが、各人の興味のあるテーマについて発表の場を設ける。

[This is a lecture-centered course. Attendants will make a presentation on each theme of interest.]
