Challenges in the study of Soviet Contemporary History

授業の目的と概要

ソ連という国家が成立する契機となったロシア革命から100年以上経過したが、約70年にわたるソ連の歴史研究は、30年前のソ連崩壊を契機に進展を遂げてきた。本授業ではソ連国内外におけるソ連史研究の歩みを振り返り、特にスターリン時代の極東地方に焦点をあて、その歴史を概観するとともに、今後の研究を展望する。

Course Objectives and Course Synopsis(授業の目的と概要)

More than 100 years have passed since the Russian October Revolution formed the USSR in 1922.The Study of Soviet history, though it progressed over the first seven decades, advanced especially after its collapse 30 years ago. This course begins with tracing the history of Soviet Studies in and out of Russia for about a century, and focuses on the Soviet far eastern region of the Stalin era.

1. The Purpose of this course is to understand the history of Soviet Studies in and out of the Soviet union especially after the collapse of Soviet Union.
2. The Purpose of this course is to understand the development process of the Soviet far East during the Stalin Era.

教科書は使用せず、授業の中で適宜、参考文献を紹介する。
No textbooks will be used. References are handed out at every class.

授業時間外学習

紹介する参考文献を読んでくること。
It is important for students to acquire preliminary knowledge to prepare for class by reading relevant information and books that are commonly available.
