The Relationships of Ancient Chinese Dynasties Formed with Neighboring Countries and Peoples
中国王朝は，東アジアの周辺諸国・諸民族との間で「冊封」や「朝貢」といった特殊な秩序を形成し，また国内外に住む多様な民族を統治してきた。この授業の前半では前近代の中国王朝の国際秩序に関する研究史を概観する。後半では秦漢時代に焦点を置き，中国王朝が周辺諸国・諸民族との間で形成した関係を歴史資料に即して具体的に考察する。
In pre-modern East Asia, the Chinese Dynasty established distinctive orders such as the tributary system and the feudal system with neighboring countries, and ruled over ethnic groups in their territories. In the first half of this course, we will review studies on the order of Chinese dynasties in the pre-modern period. In the second half, we will focus on Qin-Han period, specifically examine the relationships that the Chinese dynasties formed with the neighboring countries and peoples.
・前近代東アジアの国際秩序に関する基礎的な知識を身につけ，説明できるようになる。
・戦国から秦漢時代の中国王朝が周辺諸国・諸民族との間で形成した関係について，歴史資料に即した形で理解する。
The purposes of this course are as follows:
1) To acquire basic knowledge about the orders of the Chinese dynasties in pre-modern East Asia, and to be able to explain them in writing.
2) To understand about the relationships formed by the Chinese dynasties with neighboring countries and peoples from Warring States period to the Qin-Han period, based on historical documents.

教科書は特に指定しない。参考文献は適宜紹介する。
配布した資料を熟読し、紹介した参考文献を積極的に参照すること。
