Course Title (授業題目)

The process of Language learning and understanding

授業の目的と概要

　人がことばを理解し学習するとはどういうことなのか、その様々な考え方や理論について理解を深める。その上で、聴解または読解の教材を分析し、教材案を作成し、模擬授業を実施して授業分析をすることによって、教育方法や学習方法の改善につなげる。

Course Objectives and Course Synopsis(授業の目的と概要)

In this course, students deepen their understanding of theories related to language learning. Students also analyze various teaching materials, their own teaching materials, and their microteaching practices to improve their ways of teaching in class.

(1)言語の理解・学習過程についての理論的な背景を理解し、説明できる。
(2)理論的な背景を踏まえて、教材を分析・作成し、実践に結び付けることができる。

Learning Goals(学習の到達目標)

The purpose of this course is
1.to help students explain theoretical backgrounds of language learning
2.to provide them opportunities to analyze, create effective teaching materials and be able to apply them to teaching practice.
