Academic Writing I
この授業の目的は、大学や大学院の学習で必要なレポートや論文を正確に、わかりやすく書けるようになることです。そのために、日本語で文章を書くときに必要な基礎的な知識、文法、表現などを学びます。また、ペアやグループで相互にコメントし、レポートをよりよくする方法も学びます。
The aim of this course is to help students acquire basic academic writing skills in Japanese. This course also furthers the development of a student’s skills in writing reports and research papers properly. In addition, students have opportunities to practice peer review and improve their reports.

The goals of this course are to:
1. develop the writing skills and learn useful expressions.
2. learn proper sentence construction.

Your overall grade in this course will be decided based on the following:
・Homework assignments: 50%
・Class attendance and attitude in class: 40%,
・Final report: 10%
教科書はありません。授業のときに指示します。
参考書は『Good Writingへのパスポート』(くろしお出版)、『レポート・論文を書くための日本語文法』（くろしお出版）など
ほぼ毎回、作文の宿題があります。授業では、宿題で書いてきた作文をペアやグループで読み合います。
このクラスは外国人留学生のためのクラスです。
