Course Title (授業題目)

Henry E. Allison, Kant's Transcendental Idealism: An Interpretation and Defense

授業の目的と概要

　アリソンの『カントの超越論的観念論 ─ 解釈と擁護』（改訂増補版, 2004年）を読む（英語）。おそらくここ四半世紀でもっとも重要な『純粋理性批判』の研究書であり、ひとつの里程標として踏まえておくべきという地位をなお失っていないと思われる。
　予定では、第1部の The Nature of Transcendental Idealism から読み始め、時間が許せば受講生の関心に応じて別の箇所へ進む。演習では担当者による要旨の発表（日本語）につづいて、討議によって理解を深めるものとする。

英語の専門的なカント研究書を読みこなす力をつけること。アリソン式のカント解釈の概要を学ぶこと。
